A Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker Mod Is Removing One Of Its Defining Features

Terry Pratchett’s hilarious Discworld series has been a fantasy mainstay in books, movies, and television for decades, even after the author’s death in 2015. But for something that’s so important to a popular genre, it’s odd that there haven’t been many attempts to adapt it into a role-playing game, especially given its wealth of characters, species, settings, and deep satire.

The Pokémon Company is taking players back to Pokémon X and Pokémon Y’s Lumiose City in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the new Kalos-region game that was announced Tuesday for release in 2025. The brief trailer shown during the Pokémon Day broadcast didn’t include many concrete details, except that Lumiose City is undergoing an “urban redevelopment” aimed at building a city that “belongs to both people and Pokémon.”

The creator of one of the biggest Stardew Valley mods has confirmed it will still be compatible with the upcoming 1.6 update. 

Genshin Impact is partnering with Chinese smartphone developer OnePlus to release an exclusive themed phone based on popular five-star character Keqing. The massively popular RPG from HoYoverse has featured a variety of collaborations since it debuted in 2020, with fans getting the opportunity to show their love for the game with plenty of unique merch. The developer has previously partnered with KFC and Pizza Hut in China for promotions featuring the game and even created a Ganyu VISA credit card in partnership with China Merchants Bank. Now, the game's newest collaboration could give fans a new way to play.

Pokemon Unite has announced the next three Pokemon set to join the MOBA's roster, featuring a pair of Pokemon from Scarlet and Violet alongside a Sword and Shield Pokemon. The roster of the Pokemon MOBA developed by TiMi Studio has expanded substantially since the game's launch in 2021. Pokemon Unite's lineup features more than 60 Pokemon for players to choose from, combining classics like Pikachu and Charizard with new creatures like Meowscarada and Urshifu. Now, three recent additions to Pokemon's cast of creatures are set to arrive next.

A major mod for Morrowind, known as Morrowind Rebirth, has just been released, and it's bringing loads of fixes and even some new content to gamers. Morrowind is the third entry in Bethesda's classic Elder Scrolls series, and it's still beloved by many fans of the franchise and action RPGs in general. Now, a new mod is looking to improve Skyrim's combat.

Renowned Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki recently spoke about the future of the Dark Souls franchise, suggesting he is open to «delegating» the directorial position to others. A humorous new Red Bull ad features the iconic energy drink brand teaming up with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, in anticipation of the launch of the long-awaited RPG. With the debut of the next entry in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake saga less than a week away, fans have been treated to plenty of updates about the game. The sequel will bring players outside the city of Midgar, opening up the world of Final Fantasy 7 and introducing new playable characters like Red XIII and Cait Sith. Now, Square-Enix and Red Bull are teaming up to celebrate the game's release.
