Xbox Game Pass is soon losing Amnesia: Rebirth and five other titles. These games, which are set to leave the service on April 15, comprise an uncharacteristically big wave of Xbox Game Pass departures.
Microsoft's subscription service typically only loses games in the middle and at the tail end of each month. But those departure waves most often encompass no more than several titles. E.g., Xbox Game Pass only lost three games on March 31, preceded by another three on March 16. Meanwhile, the mid-February 2024 catalog shrinkage saw the platform lose just two titles. In contrast, this forthcoming wave of Xbox Game Pass departures will be the largest one since the turn of the year.
The full list of games leaving the service on April 15 comprises Amnesia Collection, Amnesia: Rebirth, Back 4 Blood, Phantom Abyss, Research and Destroy, and Soma. Much like its name implies, Amnesia Collection isn't a singular title but a compilation of the first two entries in the franchise, meaning that Xbox Game Pass is technically losing seven games as part of this early spring wave of departures. Between the three Amnesia installments and Soma, horror fans may feel particularly hard done by this next Xbox Game Pass exodus.

Subscribers who still haven't started these games are unlikely to be able to finish more than one of them before they leave the platform; Soma and the outgoing Amnesia entries are the shortest of the lot, with each of them being beatable in about eight hours. However, there is no telling when exactly these titles will leave Xbox Game Pass on April 15. Although Microsoft sometimes pulls departing games from its subscription catalog at midnight, such titles also have a historical tendency to disappear from the company's library throughout their scheduled day of removal.
Despite this uncharacteristically large exodus, April 2024 is still going to be a net positive for the service; Xbox Game Pass has already added nine titles since the turn of the month, with another four day-one releases being set to follow soon.
That is unlikely to be the end of this month's addition to the platform, not least because Microsoft is expected to announce the second wave of April 2024 Xbox Game Pass arrivals in the coming days. Based on historical precedent, the reveal is most likely to take place on Tuesday, April 16. That occasion should also see the company confirm which titles will be leaving Xbox Game Pass at

A recent report from a reputable Xbox insider suggests that one of 2023's biggest Soulslikes, Lords of the Fallen, could be coming to Xbox Game Pass in the near future. Eight games are leaving Xbox Game Pass on May 15, including Norco, one of the service's highest-rated titles. It's always sad whenever games are removed from the Xbox Game Pass lineup, but the good news is new games are added on a regular basis as well. In fact, Microsoft just recently pulled the curtain back on four games that will be coming to Xbox Game Pass as part of the May 2024 lineup.
Every month brings new games to the Xbox Game Pass service, with the regularly changing roster in Microsoft's subscription offering plenty of titles for different types of players to enjoy. These can be titles from long-running franchises, indie gems, or titles from Microsoft's first-party studios which are added at no extra cost upon their launch, making Game Pass one of the better deals in gaming.
Microsoft has announced new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in early May, which includes Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Kona II: Brume, Little Kitty, Big City, and more.
Microsoft has officially announced the four games that are coming to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service in the first half of May 2024. New games are added to Xbox Game Pass in two waves every month. The first wave typically takes up the first 15 days of the month, while the second wave comes in the back-half of any given month. As expected, Microsoft has now revealed all the games coming in the first wave of new Xbox Game Pass additions for May 2024.
Ravenlok and five other games are leaving Xbox Game Pass later today, April 30. This wave of outgoing titles will round off an uncharacteristically busy month for Xbox Game Pass in terms of departures.
Xbox fans are all set to get a new game, Humanity, which was a day one PS Plus game. That's not all, as Humanity will also be available as a day one Xbox Game Pass game, which means existing subscribers will be able to try it out for absolutely free.
As was previously leaked, the critically-acclaimed 2023 action-adventure game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on Thursday, April 25. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate features a number of exclusive perks to help justify its higher cost compared to the other Game Pass tiers, with one of the big selling points being its access to the EA Play library of games.
Xbox Game Pass is making four more games available to subscribers, including a day-one launch title and three additions for Core members. Xbox Game Pass Core, which launched in September 2023, replaced Xbox Live Gold and did away with the two free games subscribers received each month. Instead, for the same price, Core offers a catalog of more than 25 games for members to enjoy at their leisure, and the selection of titles changes about two to three times per year.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the action-adventure title from Respawn Entertainment, is heading to EA Play subscription service. The game is confirmed to be available on the service via Xbox and PC Game Pass starting April 25. Additionally, Jedi: Survivor has been spotted as being included with the EA Play subscription on PlayStation Store in some regions. The acclaimed Star Wars title is joining EA's subscription service almost exactly a year after its release across PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S/X.
