New Xbox Game Pass titles for console, PC and Cloud have been announced

Microsoft has announced the new Xbox Game Pass games coming to the service in the coming weeks.

This may feel like an odd weekend to play Xbox Game Pass because it has been such a devastating week for Xbox. It shuttered four studios that fell under Bethesda’s umbrella, with Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks being the most notable closures. Although it can be tough to enjoy playing games during a time when the game industry is so clearly hurting, it also offers us an opportunity to look back at what these developers created and appreciate hard work. It's been a big couple of weeks for Xbox Game Pass users, as last year's hit action adventure masterpiece Star Wars Jedi: Survivor just recently landed on the Ultimate tier of the service. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons populate Game Pass' May calendar, all leading up to the long-awaited release of Ninja Theory's Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 on the 21st.

Eight games are leaving Xbox Game Pass on May 15, including Norco, one of the service's highest-rated titles. It's always sad whenever games are removed from the Xbox Game Pass lineup, but the good news is new games are added on a regular basis as well. In fact, Microsoft just recently pulled the curtain back on four games that will be coming to Xbox Game Pass as part of the May 2024 lineup.

Every month brings new games to the Xbox Game Pass service, with the regularly changing roster in Microsoft's subscription offering plenty of titles for different types of players to enjoy. These can be titles from long-running franchises, indie gems, or titles from Microsoft's first-party studios which are added at no extra cost upon their launch, making Game Pass one of the better deals in gaming.
