Witchfire is Exclusive to Epic Games Store for 1 Year

Open-world multiplayer survival game Smalland: Survive the Wilds will leave Early Access and launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on December 7, Merge Games announced. The console versions are newly announced.

After launching for PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch, Square Enix’s Octopath Traveler 2 is coming to Xbox. It will be available in early 2024 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC via the Microsoft Store while also launching on Game Pass. Check out the announcement trailer below.

After it launched, Baldur's Gate 3 hit a phenomenal 800,000 concurrent Steam players and received PC Gamer's highest review score in 16 years, but during its years in early access, it wasn't widely expected to be the next big thing. Take as an example this May 2022 document accidentally leaked by Microsoft as part of its lawsuit with the FTC which dismissed Baldur's Gate 3 as a «second-run Stadia PC RPG» that Microsoft figured it could get onto PC Game Pass for about $5 million. 

Digital Eclipse has announced Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord, a full remake of the original Wizardry game that started the franchise. After two years in development behind the scenes, it is available now in Early Access for PC via Steam and GOG for $29.99.

The Greek Mythology-inspired series made a big splash when it was initially released and was a Game of the Year contender/winner thanks to its incredible replay value and content. Fast forward to now, and Supermassive Games has dropped a big update highlighting some key details about its release.

Square Enix’s Splatoon-like multiplayer shooter Foamstars received a new trailer during the recent State of Play and a release window. It’s out in early 2024 for PS4 and PS5, but current-gen console players can try it out early with the upcoming open beta.

After months of silence about development on the long-awaited sequel, Supergiant Games has announced that will be launching in Early Access in Q2 2024. Fans of the fast-paced roguelike franchise had been waiting nearly a year for more news about its latest entry following the reveal of Hades 2 with a stylish, animated trailer during The Game Awards 2022 last December.

Supergiant Games, the company behind Hades and Bastion, has revealed that it will launch Hades II into Early Access in the second quarter of 2024 on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The company stopped short of revealing a concrete date, though. 

The Switch version of DAVE THE DIVER will launch via Nintendo eShop on October 26 for $19.99, developer MINTROCKET announced. Pre-orders and a free demo are available now.

Hades 2 has an early access release window, and we'll be heading into the underworld again starting from Q2 2024.

Bang-On Balls: Chronicles will leave Early Access and launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on October 5, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series at a later date, publisher Untold Tales and developer Exit Plan announced.

It’s been two years since bullet hell roguelike Ira launched in Early Access. Now it’s almost ready to blast off outta there with Nicalis setting a PC launch date for October 3, 2023. Ira will be available for $19.99 on Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
