The Stardew Valley 1.6 Update is finally coming to Mobile, but when? You can experience the joys of farming wherever you go with the enchanted Stardew Valley Mobile Edition. This magical game brings all the elements adored in from the PC release right to the convenience of your device and for a fraction of the price! With a new update teasing what’s to come, let’s discuss what’s been shared on 1.6 so far.
Game creator Eric Barone (ConcernedApe) has shared teaser images, as well as other features and highlights to enjoy and look forward to in the 1.6 Update on Twitter. Unfortunately, we don’t have a specific release date yet, but there are definitely tons of awesome things to anticipate. So, let’s get into everything we know so far!
One of the more exciting additions to 1.6 in my opinion would have to go to the winter outfits! Each villager (even your favourite!) Will be getting a new and unique cozy outfit to see them through the harsh cold season. On top of that, they will also be refreshed with over 100 new lines of dialogue. What a chatty bunch…
Of course, we have to mention the new festivals too! ConcernedApe has shared that there will be a whole new major festival, as well as two new mini-festivals to participate in! I wonder what the themes will be.
Okay, let’s quick-fire some of the other things to expect. I did say there was a lot! You’re about to unlock new items that will give you access to all new crafting recipes, and completing billboard requests will grant you refreshed rewards.
Oh, and a whole new farm type is arriving! Plus, plenty of new secrets to uncover, entwined within rich lore. Even the late-game skill area content is getting expanded! So finally, drum roll please for the most thrilling of this update, 1.6 may finally introduce multi-player to mobile! (Though this part hasn’t been fully confirmed just yet…!)
With so many things to look forward to in 1.6, it’s well-understood why this update is without its release date! The team behind Stardew Valley is working exceptionally hard, and if you want to keep up with any future teasers for this grand release be sure to follow the Twitter page!

Stardew Valley's 1.6 update was supposed to be a relatively small thing, intended primarily to make life easier for modders rather than approaching the size of the feature-packed 1.5 update that once seemed like it would be Stardew Valley's send-off. 1.6 has grown significantly in scope since then, to include things like «a major new festival,» new late-game content, new items and crafting recipes, and support for eight-person multiplayer on Steam. But now creator Eric Barone has teased what is undoubtedly the most important part of the update, and it can be summed up in five words: «Hats on cats.»
