There's a big, new, shiny PS5 exclusive on the scene, and we expect it'll be a popular pick this weekend. Yes, Stellar Blade is here, and it's well worth checking out if you're in the mood for some good old-fashioned monster-murking action. There's lots of other stuff to play, though, as our team shows with an eclectic mix of PS5 and PS4 titles.
I'm taking to the high seas this weekend in Sea of Thieves. I've been keen to check out this game for years, and now that its sailed into our PS5 home shores, it's finally time! In single player land though, I think I'm going to try and squeeze in a little bit of Fallout 4 now that the PS5 update has dropped.
I've been heads down on Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes these past couple of weeks, only occasionally surfacing for some Helldivers 2. For a change of pace, I plan on checking out the PS5 update to the best Fallout game, Fallout 4, a hill I'll die on alone, with only the ever-faithful Preston Garvey to watch my back. Time and increasingly demanding baby willing, I might even check out this TV adaptation everyone raves about!
I'll be jumping between the new PS5 version of Fallout 4 and Stellar Blade, both of which I'm excited to start playing.
If you had told me I'd be playing Fallout 4 again, in the year 2024, I would have questioned my own sanity. But here I am, enjoying my wasteland adventures for the… fifth time? Sixth? The gameplay loop is still so addictive!
I have some unfinished business with Dave the Diver, so I'll be hopping back into the Blue Hole this weekend. I'm also very tempted to grab Hi-Fi Rush in the PS Store sale, as I've been wanting to play that for a while now.
That's all we've got this time, but what about you lot? What's on the agenda this weekend? Let us know what you're playing in the comments section below.

He's also our go-to guy for Sonic-related matters, much to his delight/chagrin.
1. With the PS5 update I have started a new Fallout 4 run (AGAIN!) and I just saved Nick Valentine.
2. I am continuing to advance in Serious Sam The Second Encounter.
3. Some casual play in Castlevania Portrait of Ruin
4. And a little Link to the Past
Happy gaming everyone!
It's all about Stellar Blade for me this weekend.
I continue Alone in the Dark, although it didn't turn out as good as I expected. However, after spending 101 hours on Rebirth, I needed to play something more linear before Stellar Blade because I'm

Well that’s about 30 minutes into Fallout New Vegas and already my first hard reset… doesn’t bode well
The highly rated co-op adventure that is Sea of Thieves has arrived on PS5, marking developer Rare's first ever release on PlayStation platforms, if you can believe it. The game first launched for Xbox One and PC back in 2018, and it's been heavily updated over the years, to the point where it's managed to maintain a very healthy community.
Revolutionary RPG Baldur's Gate 3 was the surpise hit of 2023; a confluence of contributing factors that led to Larian's creating a once-in-a-generation level experience. But Larian has left the building, moving onwards and upwards, and ultimate IP holder Hasbro has already made a $1 billion bet on internal game development.
On paper, May 2024 may look like a weak month for games. The biggest release of the month is Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, a big Xbox exclusive and follow-up to a 2018 horror action game about a woman suffering from psychosis. But if you enjoy experimental indies, this month may just bring your favorite game of 2024 when all is said and done. Developer Team Ninja is being backed up on the indie front, as INDIKA, Animal Well, Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, and Crow Country are all delivering spooky experiences five months ahead of Halloween.
An ‘AI PC' - What on earth is it? If you have been on the internet in the last few months, this term might have popped up on several occasions. Artificial intelligence (AI) itself has become the buzzword of the last few years and has taken the world by storm. While the term was first coined in 1956 and the technology has been in development for decades, it wasn't until the release of ChatGPT, OpenAI's natural language chatbot in 2022 powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), which kickstarted it all, ushering us into a new era and perhaps potentially bringing about the fifth major revolution in human history.
Google Play recently decided to pay tribute to Sonic the Hedgehog on social media. Reasonable, given that the famous mascot is currently having a bit of a cultural moment. The only problem? Most of it was completely wrong.
The Pedestrian I normally don't have the patience (or mental ability) for puzzle games as I tend to give up when frustrated but I've been enjoying this one, albeit in small sessions. I like the way it doesn't really explain anything but still remains quite simple to grasp the new mechanics introduced in different areas. I also like how solving fairly simple puzzles makes me feel like a genius! Its quite a pleasant change of pace for me at the moment.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance
@Bentleyma likes Gollum. I can definitely put this person on ignore then...
Stellar Blade, the latest PS5 exclusive, is out now on Sony's current-gen console. This is a big budget, out-and-out action game — something of a rarity these days — and it's been met with a slew of high scoring reviews. Needless to say, a lot of PlayStation fans have been waiting for this one.
