Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has named its first playable race: the Brujah, who love to settle brouhahas with brutal melee combat. A brief, fifteen second trailer showed a little of that combat in action in The Chinese Room's rebooted take on the RPG sequel. Find it below.

Now that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has a new developer, The Chinese Room, we're going through the whole rigamarole of teasers and reveals all over again, starting now and carrying on into 2024, and possibly beyond. I hope you're prepared. 

Paradox Interactive and developer The Chinese Room have revealed the Brujah, the first of four playable vampiric clans that will feature within Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. See them in action here:

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the cult-favorite RPG from the now-defunct Troika Games, and it's had a bit of an interesting development period following its initial 2018 announcement from developer Hardsuit Lands. Now handled by developer The Chinese Room, the large-scale and involved role-playing game looks to not only bring back Bloodlines' particular brand of role-playing but also modernize the series in a big way.

Vampire: The Masquerade-Bloodlines 2 main character has been revealed, and that character is Phyre. Phyre has been a vampire since the 17th century, and has settled in Seattle to influence the power structures. Outside of the name, players will pick everything about Phyre from gender, clan, the blood diet, behaviours, and outfits. Every character design decision will impact how Seattle’s denizens react to Phyre.

Heavy hangs the crown of expectation. Vampire: the Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is a sequel to the 2004 cult classic RPG by the now-buried Troika Games, and it has a lot to live up to. It needs to fight off the first game's powerful air of nostalgia, while also stepping into the daylight during an outstanding year for RPGs. 

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2has received a brand new preview stream courtesy of developer The Chinese Room (TCR). The video is busting with details for the upcoming gothic horror RPG and also confirms that the game's main character will be fully voiced. 

The Chinese Room has unveiled the protagonist for upcoming RPG Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. Named Phyre, players will be thrust into the shoes of an Elder Kindred for their journey across the World of Darkness version of Seattle.

Now that Paradox has, after much secrecy, revealed Everybody's Gone to the Rapture developer The Chinese Room as the new developer on Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, the information floodgates are open, and the studio's latest development update has unveiled a new fully voiced playable protagonist, Phyre.

Your character in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 isn't a blank slate and will speak during dialogue scenes. New developres The Chinese Room introduced the protagonist in a new video, in which they show a couple of interactive conversation and then layout the backstory underpinning the troubled narrative RPG.
