An underrated EA-published game from 2009, The Saboteur, is finally available on Steam, and at a massive 50% discount until March 21. The Saboteur was developed by the now-defunct Pandemic Studios and released in 2009 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Even though The Saboteur was available on PC at the time of its initial launch, it's just now made its way to Steam a whopping 15 years later.
The Saboteur was one of a handful of EA games that were added to Steam recently. Joining The Saboteur are Command & Conquer: The Ultimate Collection, Dungeon Keeper Gold, Dungeon Keepr 2, Populous, Populous 2: Trials of the Olympic Gods, Populous: The Beginning, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri Planetary Pack, and SimCity 3000 Unlimited.
Nostalgic gamers that want to relive The Saboteur should note that the game is available at a huge discount for a limited time. Until March 21, The Saboteur on Steam can be purchased for a mere $4.99, 50% off its usual asking price of $9.99. It's true that the game earned somewhat mixed reviews at the time of its release, but there are many who praise it as a hidden gem of the PS3/Xbox 360 generation, and so fans of third-person action-adventure games should definitely consider giving it a look.
Getting The Saboteur for just $4.99 is definitely a steal, but it's worth pointing out that it's also available through the EA Play subscription service. For $4.99 per month, Steam users can subscribe to EA Play and get access to a wide range of titles from the publisher, not just The Saboteur. Those that have an interest in EA games beyond The Saboteur may want to consider signing up for EA Play instead, as they will be paying the same price but will be getting access to many more games.
For those who are unfamiliar with The Saboteur, the game is about an Irish race car driver who has joined the French Resistance in Paris to fight against the occupying Nazi forces. The Saboteur features an open world take on Paris, third-person action, and a unique art style. The Steam version is currently enjoying «Very Positive» reviews, so it steams users of Valve's digital distribution platform are coming away impressed by it.

Palia, a cute-looking life sim MMO inspired by e.g. Stardew Valley, has been in beta since last year, but now it's officially out on Steam, where many more people can download and play it. With this launch comes a pretty substantial update - Patch 0.178, full notes here - which adds a new questline and Temple to explore, new furniture, and a bunch of new spring flowers and trees to grow in your garden. There is also a giant plushi frog, listed under 'Adjustments'. The patch notes say simply "What does he want? Does he come in peace?" which makes him sound way more sinister than I think he is, but as you can see from the screenshot, he isn't not sinister.

Now Slice & Dice has finally arrived on Steam in search of a wider audience, accompanied by an update adding oodles of new heroes, enemies, items, and more. For newcomers, hey, it has a demo.
