2K Games has laid off yet another round of staff, but this time, we have no idea on how many were actually affected this time around.
This is the studio behind several large titles that fans know and love such as the NBA 2K games, Bioshock, and New Tales from the Borderlands. In a post on LinkedIn, Art Manager Brad Bowling stated,
“I have had a great time over the past couple of years working with some of the finest Game Devs in the industry. Over the past 23 years of making game art, I have seen some downturns but nothing like this.”

Bowling was amongst those let go from Visual Concepts Austin, which is under the 2K umbrella, which is the second layoff spurt in less than six months. This also isn’t just Visual Concepts experiencing the layoffs from 2K games, several other studios within the 2K umbrella have been laid off over the last few years.
