Torchlight: Infinite has launched its Season 3 preseason, Hunter’s Odyssey, with a new map, new preseason gear, and more to lead into the new season.
During this preseason, which will run until November 20th, there's a chance that the monsters will drop Proof of Stat Hunter, which is an item you can present to the Goddess of Hunting. Once you do, she’ll open up Hunter’s Woods for you. The preseason will also include three ultimate legendary gear items that will drop exclusively in this period.
The new map involves a number of Netherrealm boss fights. The new experience for hunters will mean several buffs like increased movement speed resulting in additional damage for your main skills with some auto- activating after moving a certain distance. They’re ramping things up in more ways than one. Not only will there be buffs to increase your damage and speed, but the boss fights and special features of the new map mean faster potential progression too.
With these boss monsters and treasure chests that are scattered throughout the stages on the new map, it will equal about a 130% increase to progression. If you have any characters you want to improve or level up, here's your chance.
Season 3 won't launch for a while, and XD is also offering a Preseason Golden Pass for purchase. If you purchase one and level up, you can also get a free SS3 Golden Season Pass when the new season begins.
