A modder has released several Palworld PC mods that improve the game's visuals and add FSR2/XeSS upscaling support.
Pocketpair's hit title doesn't officially support mods just yet, but as covered earlier this week, modders have already released some modifications for it, including the already-taken-down Pokemon mod. Created by modder 'Hybred', we now also have some visual mods for the game, improving Palword's vanilla graphics, improving anti-aliasing, and adding support for AMD's FSR upscaling tech alongside Intel's XeSS upscaling tech. For those unknown, Palworld currently only supports NVIDIA DLSS.
As said, the new "improved graphics" mod for Palworld improve's the title graphics for both high-end and low-end setups by enabling Lumen, enhancing post-processing effects, increasing view distance, and improving the ambient occlusion algorithm. This mod can be downloaded here.
The modder's "Improved Anti-aliasing" mod enhances the game's anti-aliasing (TSR, TAA, DLSS & FXAA), improves image stability, and reduces blur. Those interested can download the mod here.
Last but not least is the FSR2/XeSS upscaling mod, which adds support for FSR2 and Xess 1.2 over DLSS. According to the creator of the mod, this mod "improves the upscaling quality using a custom config so no matter what you select you'll get better upscaling than other mods currently provide." The Palworld FSR2/XeSS upscaling mod can be downloaded here.

Palworld is available in early-access through Steam and Game Pass worldwide now. Since the release of Pocketpair's 'Pokemon with Guns' game last week, the game has sold more than 8 million copies on Steam alone. In addition, the title broke the two million concurrent players milestone on Steam. As covered earlier today, following various questions on the matter and the game becoming an instant megahit, The Pokemon Company has issued a statement regarding the use of the Pokémon IP or assets in Palworld. "We have received many inquiries regarding another company’s game released in January 2024",the statement reads. "We have not granted any permission for the use of Pokémon intellectual property or assets in that game. We intend to investigate and take appropriate measures to address any acts that infringe on intellectual property rights related to the Pokémon. We will continue to cherish and nurture each and every Pokémon and its world, and work to bring the world together through Pokémon in the future."
