The highly-anticipated Dragon's Dogma 2 is said to be targeting 'just' 30FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series.
Let's start off by saying that this is merely a rumor at this point as the 'information' reportedly comes from a "Japanese insider" according to Twitter/X user PC_Focus. No further details were shared, but this user has recently been accurately releasing information on other games as well. This is interesting information however since the game is due late March, but Capcom still hasn't released additional details about the game's visual modes. Also relevant in this context is that the game's Steam page makes mention of "estimated performance" with 30FPS for both minimum and recommended specs. As for the minimum specs, the Steam page lists an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, which on paper, is roughly equivalent to the CPU inside the PS5 and Xbox Series.

If true, we're pretty sure that console players will be disappointed with the game only running at 30FPS on their consoles. As said, take the information above with a fair point of salt as Capcom hasn't officially revealed the game's console details. Also, we haven't been able to verify whether this is a legit source. Still, we wanted to share this piece of 'info'.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is releasing on March 22 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Last month, the game's Director, Hideaki Itsuno, apologized for the long-overdue sequel to 2012's original Dragon's Dogma.
"I really wanted to be able to make a sequel right after the game came out, so sorry for making everyone wait so long", the Director said in an interview with PLAY magazine. "I've been so grateful to see so many fans appreciate the quality of the game and support it for so many years. Having fans support the game - both inside Capcom and out! - is definitely something that helped push the project toward realization."
