Star Wars fans are busy speculating about the first trailer for The Acolyte – and they have a theory about one character in particular.

Star Wars fans may have uncovered an interesting shared trait among 3 of the most prominent characters in the franchise at the moment. They may all be the same age despite appearing so far apart. But those making this realization for the first time might wonder how they never noticed this possibility.
One persistent theme throughout Star Wars, occasionally to the dismay of some fans, is repetition. Series creator George Lucas' famous (or infamous, depending on who's being asked) utterance of «it's like poetry; it rhymes» continues to live rent-free in the heads of many a nerd. So when the animated series Star Wars Rebels introduced Ezra Bridger as yet another brash young hero who just so happened to possess Force sensitivity, some viewers were already rolling their eyes at the idea despite Ezra eventually turning out to be a shockingly well-developed character who earned plenty of fan gushing when he appeared on the live-action series Ahsoka. But that may not be the only thing Ezra shares with the franchise's roots.
User Lod_the_Nord on the Star Wars subreddit noticed something when rewatching Rebels. Based on the timeline of events in that series, Ezra likely shares a birthday with Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa. This possible discovery stems from an episode set on «Empire Day,» 15 years after the rise of the Galactic Empire, where Ezra reveals that it's also his 15th birthday. Those who have seen Revenge of the Sith enough times to memorize more than just the scenes immortalized in memes will recall that Luke and Leia were born around that same time. But how close is their birthday to Ezra's?
Other fans pointed out that the timeline doesn't necessarily match up perfectly. But while Luke and Leia may not have been born on the same day as Ezra, it's pretty safe to say they're all essentially the same age. Revenge of the Sith saw the twins born shortly after their father, Anakin's, fateful duel with Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar. That duel, in turn, took place not long after Chancellor Palpatine declared himself Emperor as he morphed the Republic into the Galactic Empire. Appropriately enough, this scene also spawned a particularly poignant and unfortunately well-aged Star Wars meme as Senator Padmé Amidala (Luke and Leia's mother, for the uninitiated) watched her fellow politicians praise the open move to a dictatorship, uttering «So this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause.»
«They are separated by two days, but yeah they're the same age. The day-by-day timeline for Revenge of the Sith is:
Day 1 — Battle of Coruscant
Day 2 — Anakin Joins the Council
Day 3 — Obi-Wan leaves for Utapau; Battle of Kashyyyk begins
Day 4 — Battle of Utapau; Order 66
Day 5 — Declaration of a New Order; Ezra is born; Death of
