There's a way to steal things with a bucket in Starfield after all

A couple of days back, the system requirements for Assassin's Creed Mirage were revealed. The recommended requirements are quite reasonable, with pretty much any six-core CPU and GTX 1660 Ti / RX 5600 XT tier graphics card able to run the game at 60 FPS and 1080p with high settings.

Today seems to be a bad day for all Twitter or X users because the latest word is that Elon Musk is going to start charging everyone to use the platform. This means that even if you are not a Blue subscriber, you will still have to pay for the platform to be able to use it. Which does defeat the purpose of it in the first place, but at this point, we cannot say for sure.

After launching Starfield without DLSS support, Bethesda Game Studios confirmed in a news post on Steam that the revolutionary technology will be added to the RPG soon. Currently, players have had to use a popular DLSS3 mod that was released the same day Starfield launched. Additionally, the post outlined plans to work closely with Nvidia, AMD, and Intel on driver support. An Nvidia driver released yesterday improved performance on new RTX GPUs.

Nvidia has form when it comes to locking out older GPUs from new technologies and features. So when it wheeled out DLSS upscaling technology, limiting it to the latest GPU architecture at the time, there was always the question of whether that was strictly necessary. If, perhaps, DLSS could run on older GPUs, was it just that Nvidia preferred to help the generational upsell by restricting the technology to newer hardware.

A lucky few people were given the chance to preview Marvel's Spider-Man 2 recently and even take the game for a swing. Insomniac Games has been celebrating that with a little more than a month until the sequel is finally here. Reason to celebrate for everyone who plans on playing the game as it likely means we're about to learn a lot more about what to expect from it. In fact, Insomniac's James Stevenson has already got the ball rolling.

XDefiant, Ubisoft's upcoming multiplayer shooter that some have hailed as the return of a more old-school, more 2010s-style, perhaps more try-hard Call of Duty-esque experience, has been delayed for an indeterminate amount of time. Why? Because it somehow offended the console gods: failing to pass the certification process for at least one of either PlayStation or Xbox, which means we all have to wait to get our hands on it until Ubisoft can rectify the problems that cropped up and try to get XDefiant certified again.
