Krampus is an incredibly powerful Salutor in , focusing on depleting enemies' Focus quickly and dealing damage based on lost Focus. Unlocking him, however, requires completing two hard-to-miss quests in Port Praga. His boss fight is not very difficult, so taming Krampus should only take roughly 20 to 30 minutes from start to finish.
Players will need to start Act 2 of this grim investigation game before Krampus' quests unlock. Players should also have one or two Focus-replenishing abilities ready before fighting Krampus, as his second phase depletes Wiktor's Focus each round. But, for players going for Focus-depletion party builds or wanting to maximize their Word Dimension skills, recruiting Krampus will be well worth it.
Once reaching Act 2, head to Port Praga and run south, using Perception to collect any useful Observations. Eventually, Wiktor should notice the signboard shown above with a «Golden Tiger» fireworks ad, starting the quest «The Real Fireworks». Follow the Perception trail to find a crate label Observation, which spurs a Conclusion that fireworks have been delivered to the port recently. Continue following the Perception trail southeast to find the warehouse, completing «The Real Fireworks» and immediately starting «A Rod for the Hero».
Upon going inside, Wiktor will sense Krampus following someone in the area. Knocking on a door upstairs reveals someone is trapped inside, but can communicate through pounding the door. To get more information from this trapped person, Wiktor needs to find more Observations within the warehouse. Shown in the photos above, these Observations include:
This Observation leads to the «Unlucky Opportunists» Conclusion, where a group of robbers got lucky in stealing arms, but now find themselves in deep trouble with the law.
Speaking with the trapped person again, Wiktor learns that they were an officer escorting the robbed arms convoy and they've been trapped there for a week by the robbers, who the prisoner recognized. Walking back to the warehouse entrance will trigger a cutscene with warehouse worker Edek arguing with his underlings. Edek will quickly notice Wiktor and start accosting him for sneaking in.
By pressuring Edek with his knowledge of the captured officer, Wiktor will cause Edek's goons, Roughneck and Jemioł, to question his leadership. Edek promises that the explosives they stole can scare away the Russians, and leaves Jemioł behind to prevent Wiktor from leaving.
Jemioł, however, is quick to turn on Edek for his manipulative nature, revealing the Avenger Observation. Wiktor can use this knowledge to concoct some verbal manipulation and convince Jemioł to let him and the captured officer go to spite Edek, which he does.
