Now Playing: The Talos Principle 2 | Release Date Trailer | Available November 2
The Talos Principle 2 takes place in the distant future where humans are extinct, and its culture lives on through robots made in humankind's image. Players will encounter philosophies and questions about human nature, the cosmos, faith, and reason, in order to learn about how to avoid repeating the same mistakes humankind did.
While familiar puzzles from the first game will return, there are also new gameplay mechanics such as mind transference and gravity manipulation. Additionally, there are multiple endings to unlock.
The Talos Principle 2 was announced all the way back in 2016 but it wasn't officially revealed until earlier this year during the May 2023 PlayStation Showcase. In GameSpot's The Talos Principle review, we said, «The Talos Principle is an absolute joy to play, packed to the gills with expertly designed puzzles and enough ancillary content to make any history of philosophy buff salivate.»

You are born into a world where the final acts of biological humans led to the creation of robotic humans, giving them a chance to continue our legacy, hopefully doing so in a way that breaks the cycle and avoids repeating our mistakes.
