DREDGE DLC ‘The Pale Reach’ launches November 16

The release date for the slimmer and lighter mid-gen refresh of the PS5 has seemingly leaked online, alongside details about its first bundle. As per reliable tipster Billbil-kun — notorious for accurately leaking monthly PS Plus games ahead of time — the new PlayStation consoles with smaller form factor will go on sale November 10 in the US before spreading out to other regions; both disc and digital versions. A bit before that, on November 8, Sony would be bundling it with the newly launched Marvel's Spider-Man 2 at $559.99, which is the same amount as the existing standard edition bundle. While not explicitly mentioned, the content should be the same, with a digital voucher for the game, alongside a themed controller.

Narrative-driven action adventure game The Walking Dead: Destinies will launch digitally for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on November 17, followed by a physical release in December, publisher GameMill Entertainment and developer Flux Games announced.

Publisher Forever Entertainment, and developers Highball Games and Storm Trident will release the first of four free downloadable contents for Magical Drop VI on November 2, the companies announced.

Life simulation game Coral Island will leave Early Access and launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store on November 14, publisher Humble Games and developer Stairway Games announced. It will also be available via Xbox Game Pass.

Lake prequel holiday-themed downloadable content “Season’s Greetings” will launch on November 15 across all platforms, publisher Whitethorn Games and developer Gamious announced.

We’re midway through October, with the heaviest hitters set to launch in the coming weeks. That includes Remedy Entertainment’s Alan Wake 2, which launches on October 27th (after a delay to avoid competing with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2). It promises over 20 hours of gameplay, but there are also two expansions coming post-launch.

Exploration adventure game Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure will leave Early Access and launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on November 9, followed by Switch at a later date for $24.99 / £20.99. The game can also be enjoyed for free with someone who already owns the game via the “Friends’ Pass.”

World War II real-time strategy game Last Train Home will launch for PC via Steam on November 28, publisher THQ Nordic and developer Ashborne Games announced. A demo will be available starting today at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET as part of Steam Next Fest: Fall 2023.

Indie studio Black Salt Games has announced the first expansion for horror-themed fishing title Dredge. Titled The Pale Reach, the expansion is slated to arrive on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC on November 16, and will be priced at $5.99. Dredge, a horror fishing game that has no right to be as good as it is, is getting its first expansion on November 16. The Pale Reach update will add an icy biome for daring fishermen to explore, a bunch of new fish to catch, and quality of life updates.
