A new skin was briefly added to the Epic Games Store version of Batman: Arkham Knight.
The new skin let players use the suit from The Batman, the 2022 movie starring Robert Pattinson as Batman.
As spotted by Twitter user @Andrew4586, the new skin had quietly been added to the game, apparently without any sort of announcement yet.
The suit was simply called The Batman – 2022 and comes with the description “I am the shadows.”
However, players are now reporting that the skin has been removed, as quickly and quietly as it was added.
It’s not clear if the skin is perhaps set to be added to the game – be that on Epic Games Store or all formats – and has been added too early.

Arkham Knight is also coming to the Switch for the first time soon, as part of Batman: Arkham Trilogy.
The compilation will consist of Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight, and will include all previously released DLC.
However, it was announced earlier this month that the Switch collection, which was due for release on October 13, has been held back two months.

“Batman: Arkham Trilogy for Nintendo Switch will now launch on December 1, 2023,” the game’s official Twitter account read at the time.
“More time is needed to bring players the best possible experience on Nintendo Switch. We apologise to fans who are excited to play this version of the trilogy. Thank you for your patience.”
The trilogy is being developed for Nintendo’s console by Turn Me Up Games, which previously handled Switch versions of It Takes Two, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, and Borderlands Legendary Collection.
