The Rock hit pause on his acting career a few months ago so he could return to WWE. Not only the company that made him famous, but one where he is now a part of its board of directors. Quickly discovering fans didn't want Rock disrupting Cody Rhodes on the way to finishing his story, The People's Champ pivoted, siding with his cousin Roman Reigns to become a heel and labeling himself The Final Boss in the process. Now the latest version of The Rock has been turned into a Funko Pop!
Released to celebrate WrestleMania weekend, and The Rock's first match in eight years, the figure is modeled after the look the wrestler-turned-movie star sported on his way to the ring on Saturday night. Signature sunglasses, his red, white, black, and gold jacket, and even elbow pads ready to be thrown off in preparation for giving someone The People's Elbow. The only thing missing is The People's Championship, although, in Funko's defense, that title wasn't seen for the first time until this year's Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday night.
The Final Boss Pop! is available now exclusively at Fanatics, and you can place your pre-order through the link in the box below. $14.99 to add the heelish Rock to your collection, the only bad news is how long you'll have to wait until The Final Boss arrives on your doorstep. Although pre-orders are open, the Pop! won't ship until the end of September with orders expected to be delivered on September 27, 2024.
After competing in his first match for eight years at WrestleMania 40, the look The Rock sported was quickly turned into a Funko Pop! to mark the occasion. Based on the veteran's The Final Boss moniker he has assumed upon returning to WWE.
The Rock was successful in his first match back, wielding his power as a member of the WWE board to threaten the referee whenever he and Reigns were in jeopardy, a tactic that ultimately won them the match. Rock reappeared in Sunday's main event too, but he and other Bloodline members weren't enough to prevent Rhodes from finishing his story. If you're not happy with how things panned out at WrestleMania, you'll need to pick up WWE 2K24 and rewrite history in your own vision.
The release of The Rock's Final Boss Pop! caps off a busy week for Funko across various fandoms. A new Iron Man figure which shows Tony Stark midway through his nanotech applying his suit was released, and no fewer than eight new figures went on sale to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Phantom Menace. Among the new Star Wars Pops are two Padme figures, and Darth Maul riding his Palafin Speeder.
