Since then, follow-ups Outlast: Whistleblower and Outlast 2 brought even more heart-pounding survival horror to the forefront. With Outlast 2 being released back in 2017, it was exciting news when The Outlast Trials was officially announced. Not only were fans going to get another entry in the series, but The Outlast Trials promised multiplayer for the first time in the franchise's history. This new take on the Outlast franchise was exciting news for many fans of the series, making it one of the most anticipated horror releases of the year.
Unfortunately, fans in Saudi Arabia who have been looking forward to the game's full release are no longer able to play The Outlast Trials. The abrupt ban seemingly came out of nowhere, leaving players in Saudi Arabia completely unable to experience the game.
