The Last Faith delayed to November, PC beta test open now

No Man's Sky has been spitting out cosmic adventures for seven years and, despite not meeting expectations at launch, has evolved into an incredibly varied sandbox thanks to Hello Games' fantastic post-launch support. With free, expansion-sized updates coming out every year, it keeps beckoning players back.

The Expanse: A Telltale Series has received its fourth and penultimate episode, which sees protagonist Camina Drummer in dire straits. The Artemis’s crew have mutinied, leaving her on a strange space station. She must now find a way to escape through any means necessary. Early access action RPG Last Epoch has just received update 0.9.2, which adds a new class of mage called the Runemaster. The Runemaster has five new spells they can use to tear through the game's monsters, and each spell can be customised via its own skill tree.

The Last of Us 2‘s game director Neil Druckmann hints that the studio is working on a new game. He couldn’t confirm whether it was The Last of Us 3, though that seems likely. However, it’s also possible that Naughty Dog has something else in the works.

I'm a sucker for the concept where you get someone who's good at a specific task to do a technically-related but wildly different thing and they're hyper-competent at it. For example, who would you call if an invasion of alien cockroaches came swarming down from the skies to end humanity? Obviously you'd call the exterminator, says Ironworks Games, Australia-based developers of The Last Exterminator.

There have been rumors about Naughty Dog vice president and director Neil Druckmann’s next project for some time now. He teased it at last year’s Summer Game Fest showcase but said it was too early to discuss. Rumors have circulated that it’s The Last of Us Part 3, but there’s been no official confirmation.

The Circus Of The Last Days is one of the most interesting locations in all of Baldur’s Gate 3. It is the home of multiple quests and the backdrop for some of the stranger interactions you’ll come across in Act 3. Whilst there you will almost certainly bump into Akabi, a rather tricky Djinn. 

The Last Faith was announced over a year ago, and it's one we've been patiently waiting for. It's another of those action games that aims to bring the hardcore challenge of Soulslikes into the realm of side-scrolling. Coming from publisher PlayStack and developer Kumi Souls Games, this one in particular seems to have Bloodborne coursing through its veins.

The Last of Us on-screen universe could be expanding, as spin-offs are not off the agenda for HBO showrunner Craig Mazin. Speaking to The Wrap, he shared that he and game creator and co-showrunner Neil Druckmann are not opposed to them at all. 

Bloodborne fans are always on the lookout for games that take inspiration from it, and Kumi Souls Games’ The Last Faith has looked like it’s going to scratch that itch every time it’s been shown off. Recently, at Future Games Show, another new trailer of the game was showcased, offering another glimpse of the 2D action-platformer’s grimdark fantasy world and its gorgeous pixel art style.
