Kirby has been inhaling stuff since his video game introduction, an ability that grants him the power of whatever or whoever he swallows. In The Forgotten Land, the pink puffball kicked things up a notch. Most of the enemies and items Kirby had swallowed until his first 3D adventure were his size or smaller. However, in The Forgotten Land, he inhaled vending machines, gliders, and even a car. Car Mouth Kirby quickly became the image the game became synonymous with, and two years later, it has finally been turned into a collectible.
If you're anything like me, you likely assumed Car Mouth Kirby was already a figurine or toy of some sort. A character as loved as Kirby transformed into an item that has been turned into a toy for as long as toys have been a thing, seems like a homerun. Well, Good Smile Company has finally stepped up to the plate and knocked the ball out of the park.
Good Smile officially revealed its Car Mouth Kirby figure on Friday and if you live in the US or Canada, you can pre-order it through the link in the box below for $25.99. It's also available through the BigBadToyStore for a little more, but with more shipping options if you live outside of North America. The figure is a little less than three inches tall, made of plastic, and its wheels move so you can roll it around like your own home is The Forgotten Land.
The Good Smile Company has turned Car Mouth Kirby into a collectible figure. Made of plastic and with moving wheels, the design is based on the character's ability in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
The only downside to this reveal is even though pre-orders for Car Mouth Kirby are available now, the item won't ship until Q4 2024. Hey, at least that means if you have a Kirby-loving person in your life, you now know what to get them for the holidays ten months ahead of time. It doesn't make up for the current Kirby video game landscape though which is unseasonably barren right about now.
Unlike his fellow Nintendo mascots Mario and Link, Kirby games tend to release at a quicker pace. No shade intended to Kirby, I love almost everything he's ever done, but his games likely don't take quite as much work as something like Tears of the Kingdom. All of that said, with a somewhat empty year ahead for the Switch as we potentially prepare for the console's successor, a Kirby game to fill the void would do a world of good.

While we’re enormous fans of Train Sim World 4 and Dovetail’s entire railway simulation series, we’ve often criticised its overemphasis on British, American, and German routes. Fortunately, it looks like the release is poised to receive its first Japanese add-on, in the form of the Tadami Line, in-development at external studio Union Workshop.
Arriving twenty years after the original Outcast, a sequel, Outcast - A New Beginning is out now, and to herald its launch, publisher THQ Nordic and IGN partnered up to send the Adelpha Edition of the game to space. To make this stellar outing even better, one lucky fan will win the Adelpha Edition that actually went to space, plus another sealed version for their collection. Read on for details on how to enter for your chance to win.
Pokemon TCG sales have suffered since the release of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, according to store owners. This is blamed on multiple factors, including the economy and series popularity.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s lukewarm reception seems to have had an impact on Pokemon TCG sales, which have dropped since the latest Pokemon entries were released on the Nintendo Switch in 2022. Fans were less than thrilled with Game Freak’s latest monster-gathering JRPGs, as Pokemon Scarlet and Violet quickly became some of the lowest-rated mainline Pokemon entries despite their record-breaking launch. Players even started review-bombing Pokemon Scarlet and Violet for various reasons, including their many performance issues.
Turtle Beach is purchasing controller and headset manufacturer PDP for $118 million as part of major changes to its business, capital allocation, and leadership.
In the violent future of Helldivers 2, the United Kingdom no longer exists on Super Earth, it would seem. The co-op shooter from Arrowhead Game Studios has become a smash hit thanks to its gameplay and sci-fi story that blends classic tropes and dark, cynical humor. Lots of gamers love Helldivers 2 and are always eager to learn more about its world and backstory.
Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead Game Studios has been dishing out updates at a steady pace ever since launch, tweaking and adding certain things to try and make its game the best it can be. Some of these changes haven't been all that well-received, but the game's most recent patch has finally made things a little easier on players by lowering the spawn rate of Bile Titans and Chargers, two bug variants that have been causing trouble lately.
Helldivers 2 lore is fairly straightforward: bugs and automatons are bad, managed democracy is good. So what's going on at the heart of this democracy, Super Earth? Well, the devs over at Arrowhead have given us a rare glimpse into what's going on there, but it only raises more questions than answers.
Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence by Ubisoft has delayed its launch yet once again. The third-person shooter was supposed to roll out later this month, but that’s not happening now. The launch date has now been pushed to December 2024. I know, it’s quite a drag!
Following the billion-dollar success of the first Super Mario Bros. Movie, series owner Nintendo and animation studio Illumination have announced another film "based on the world of Super Mario Bros."
