If I've learned one thing covering Steam games over the past decade or so, it's that people love porn. If I've learned two things, the other is that people love games featuring Dwarves. Deep Rock Galactic has had players singing 'rock and stone' for years, and its Vampire Survivors-style spinoff has been no less popular. Stardew Valley mini-update adds pet adoption, fixes moss issues arising from the 1.6 mega-update

Stardew Valley, one of our favourite RPGs despite coming out almost a decade ago, still has an attentive steward in the form of developer Eric Barone. After the recent 1.6 mega-update to the game, which added a whole bunch of stuff, Barone (better known in his developer form as ConcernedApe) Xeeted out a list of fixes in the now-available 1.6.3 update. This makes tweaks to things arising from 1.6 (many of them addressing moss, a new foraging item) and fixes bugs, one of which was causing 'excess trash' to be fished.

How a stolen car led the creator of mega mod Stardew Valley Expanded to "every modder's dream" of working with Eric Barone on update 1.6

One of the most wholesome stories about Stardew Valley's 1.6 update launch was that the developer behind the farming sim's most beloved modding project, Stardew Valley Expanded, helped make it happen. And yet that might not have come to be if FlashShifter hadn't fallen on hard times after an unfortunate brush with car theft.
