It's been a fascinating journey for the developers behind indie game studio Evening Star. Much of the crew got their humble starts working together on Sonic the Hedgehog fan games. Their work was so highly regarded that they would eventually be recruited by Sega to develop Sonic Mania, a throwback to the franchise's 2D heyday that would go on to become the highest rated Sonic game in over 25 years.

Puzzle game Lorelei and the Laser Eyes will launch for Switch and PC via Steam on May 16, publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer Simogo announced.

Short detective adventure game Duck Detective: The Secret Salami will launch for Switch and PC via Steam on May 23, developer Happy Broccoli Games announced.

Comedy RPG Athenian Rhapsody will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC via Steam and GOG, iOS, and Android on May 14, publisher Top Hat Studios and developer Nico Papalia announced.
