Deal Alert! Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 RTX 4060 gaming laptop | $1,599.99 $1,199.99 at Best Buy
I managed to get my hands on the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 earlier in the year, and fell in love with the super compact design and impressive power potential. When this price jumped from $1,199.99 back up to $1,299.99 at the start of the month, then, I was disappointed. It was thrown out of our Black Friday gaming laptop deals hub and I've been waiting for that extra $100 to drop back off ever since. I've just checked again, and we're back to a record low price.
The RTX 4060 configuration has just dropped back to $1,199.99 today (was $1,599.99) for a full $400 saving over MSRP. That's excellent for anyone after a mid-range machine packing a Ryzen 9 processor and 16GB RAM.
Buy it if:
✅ You travel regularly with your laptop
✅ You want portability and power
✅ You only need a mid-range graphics card
Don't buy it if:
❌ You want to run the latest games at the highest settings

Buying renewed tech this Black Friday? Here's everything you need to watch out for
Over the last year I've been seeing more and more renewed tech making its way to the shelves during major sales events, and when it comes to rarely discounted items like the Meta Quest or Nintendo Switch these offers can be particularly lucrative. However, Black Friday is a melting pot of prices and retailers, which means it pays to remain vigilant when considering a renewed purchase.
Of course, the first thing you'll want to take note of is the price. With Black Friday deals leaving new prices everywhere you look, you might find that a new version of your console or accessory is actually only a few bucks more than a pre-owned model. Take the Nintendo Switch OLED, for example. You'll find that available for $304.99 (was $338) renewed at Amazon right now. Walmart, however, is selling a new console for $297.99 as part of a flash sale.
If you actually are making a decent saving, though, it's time to check the legitimacy of not just the retailer but the seller. Most of the time we don't think twice about ordering from the likes of Walmart, Amazon, and Newegg but these are all sites that allow third party sellers onto their shelves. To avoid being caught up in a scam, look for items sold by the retailer you're shopping with and if a third party is involved make sure there are a good amount of reviews, and a considerable history of the seller being allowed to operate on the site.
Amazon operates its own renewed program which guarantees products' condition to a high standard and Best Buy has its own in-house Geek Squad do its refurbishment. Keep your deals hunting to these kinds of pages to be as safe as possible.
