The best action movies of the year so far

Bill Skarsgård is switching horror for action in the new film Boy Kills World, and the director says they drew on some intriguing influences. 

The year got off to a rather slow start when it comes to horror movies, but now that the release calendar has ramped up, there are at least a few horror movies worth watching in 2024.

No Rest for the Wicked is an action-RPG not unlike Diablo, but the devs have reassured that it's "much more Metroidvania" than most games in the genre.
