Very few video game promotional products can actually make graphics better, but the official eyeglasses from Warby Parker can do just that. A tie-in between prescription glasses and a video game release is a different breed of cross-promotion from the norm, as fans usually see products aimed at children, like fast food restaurant toys or limited run cereals. This makes the Warby Parker collaboration stand out, since prescription eyeglasses are extremely practical, and can certainly do more to improve video game graphics than a new television.

This new Spidey adventure had to take the best elements from those games, mix them with new characters, features, and stories, and produce the kind of game fans will talk about for years. Somehow, they did just that; Spider-Man 2 is, to get the easy pun out of the way early, amazing. 

Peter Parker and Miles Morales face several villains throughout . While most of these villains have complete arcs in the game's campaign or are used to set up future appearances in sequels or potential DLC, there is one villain who appears in the game but doesn't have a clear story arc ahead.

delivers a New York City that's larger and more detailed than its predecessors, with new gameplay additions to accompany it. This means there are plenty of nooks and crannies for developer Insomniac Games to sequester hidden secrets. From gameplay quirks to easily missed encounters and Easter eggs, there are plenty of things players may never notice in .

features a great deal of side content for Peter and Miles to explore while traversing through the streets of New York City. Though this exceptional game has a phenomenal main story, some of the game's side missions and activities are so good that they almost steal the show. One notable highlight in many of 's side missions and activities is their brilliant cutscenes, which can offer incredible cinematics, ambiance, and an invaluable addition to the game's narrative.

First-month sales for Spider-Man 2 are up by a double-digit percentage compared to the first game.

There's no shortage of side activities in , with an abundance of suits for both Peter and Miles often unlocked as a reward for completing them. While some side activities such as "" can function somewhat independently of the game's main narrative, and act as a way to set up a potential future DLC storyline, others such as the Emily-May Foundation experiments feed directly into Peter Parker and Harry Osborn's main aspirations to «heal the world».

Miles Morales' mother, Rio Morales has endured a difficult time in the relationship department since the untimely passing of her husband, Jefferson Davis; however, during , she tells her son that she has been on a series of dates and has met a man. Though it is teased a number of times, and while many attempts for them all to have dinner together are made throughout the story of, it is not until the very final post-credit scene that the true identity of Rio's mystery man is revealed to Miles and, by extension, the player.
