Tekken 8 demo poised to launch on December 14 on PS5, Xbox and PC afterward

As one of the longest-running gaming storylines ever, the Tekken series has seen a whole assortment of oddball events and fierce fighters surrounding the over-the-top King of the Iron Fight tournament. While Tekken has had space ninjas, large robots, and demons join its roster, no other character -- in my view -- is weirder than Kuma, the fighting bear. And the latest character trailer that Bandai Namco just dropped proves how much of an oddball character Kuma is and that he's somehow even more of a dorky character in Tekken 8. And I personally wouldn't have it any other way.

An adaptation of the Slough House book series (alternatively known as the Jackson Lamb series) by Mick Herron, is a spy thriller show that revolves around the staff members of Slough House, a branch of MI5 where disgraced agents are sent so they can finish their tenure in administrative oblivion. However, led by their brilliant but revolting boss Jackson Lamb, the “Slow Horses” often emerge as the final wall between Britain and national catastrophe.

 China approved 105 domestic games on Monday, the latest indication that Beijing is softening its stance after its move to tighten industry restrictions led to a $80 billion rout last week. The titles included those operated by Tencent Holdings Ltd. and NetEase Inc., China's two leading game publishers that have been pummeled by Beijing's new rules. Monday's approvals show the Chinese authorities support the development of online gaming, an industry association said in a post on WeChat republished by the official Xinhua news agency. 

Assault Suit Leynos 2 Saturn Tribute will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on April 25, 2024 in Japan, City Connection announced. The PlayStation 5 version is newly announced.

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer FromSoftware will release the version 1.05 update—the “Ranked Matchmaking Update”—for Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon on December 19, the companies announced.

The version 1.6 update for Honkai: Star Rail, dubbed “Crown of the Mundane and Divine,” will launch on December 27, developer miHoYo announced.

Bandai Namco has announced plans to release a Tekken 8 demo this week.

2023 might be coming to a close, but it looks like the constant stream of major new game releases isn’t slowing down anytime soon. The first few months of 2024 have a number of heavy hitters lined up for launch, with Tekken 8 being one of the biggest ones, and ahead of the fighter’s imminent release, players will get the chance to sample some of its offerings soon.

Bandai Namco will release a demo for Tekken 8 on December 14 for PlayStation 5, and on December 21 for Xbox Series and PC, the company announced.
