Sentinel Survival Hunter Review
Inspired by the soldiers of the powerful Kaldorei army, the Sentinel tree (ha!) is all about controlling the ebb and flow of combat, wearing your enemy down with unrelenting precision enhanced by pure Arcane energy. On the surface, this doesn't have a whole lot do with Survival's spec fantasy, but one could sure make an argument that it fits in very well with the adaptive ranger part of the spec! Much like our Pack Leader initial impression editorial, we'll be going over our general first impressions of the tree in thematic and gameplay lenses, go over some immediate questions and concerns, then finally going over each node individually.
Preliminary thoughts are quite positive! Much like Pack Leader, Sentinel meshes very well with Blizzard's design goals of a non-intrusive augmentation of your current spec identity without overcomplicating things. Sentinel sure seems like it's going to be quite the visual spectacle, albeit very passive for your gameplay.
Note: These thoughts are made under the assumption that neither the class nor spec tree for Survival are changing at all from its iteration in 10.2.5.

The visuals themselves are full of the sort of blues and white you'd expect of lunar magic, and the keystone Lunar Storm knocks it out of the park in a very frequent way with an impressive ethereal owl. You can check out a quick preview of our capstone right here!
Gameplay
As far as intentions of Hero Talents go, Sentinel is also inline with the goals of cool but ultimately minimally impactful. Sentinel itself is a deceptively passive
