Rocksteady has released a major update for the third-person action shooter Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League that resolves an exploit tied to experience points that some players had used and introduces various gameplay tweaks. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has garnered significant attention for allowing players to take control of four infamous villains from the DC universe, namely Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark in a unique single-player and cooperative multiplayer experience.
After the game was released on February 2, 2024, some players of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League had discovered an exploit allowing rapid XP gain through repetitive vehicle kills during Gizmo's Support Squad missions. The patch also includes some specific tuning to high level enemies to keep challenges intact after fixing the scaling exploits.

Additionally, new leaderboards will be introduced given the adjustments to burning damage scaling and subsequent impacts on mastery progression. These changes acknowledge the shifting dynamics resulting from exploit fixes.
While the update indicates progress, it highlights ongoing challenges in maintaining balance across Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's complex systems, especially in a multiplayer environment. Continual reassessment of character strengths and progression pacing will help provide ongoing fairness and enjoyment for both casual players and dedicated fans alike.
The update reflects developer responsiveness to community feedback and commitment to continuous improvement through comprehensive bug fixing and systems adjustments. By resolving the pressing XP exploit and other issues, the patch aims to provide a more fair and engaging gameplay experience going forward.
