There aren't a tonne of rhythm action games on PS5 — unless you happen to have PSVR2, where the genre is doing just fine — but the well-liked indie effort, Melatonin, is right around the corner. Just announced for a PS5 port, the game is heavily inspired by Nintendo's excellent Rhythm Heaven series, which is enough to have us interested.
The game is about dreams and reality bleeding into each other, providing a backdrop for a set of fun, ethereal rhythm minigames. You can get a feel for the gameplay in the above trailer — you'll mostly be pressing and holding buttons in time with the beat, and will also explore the relationship between our experiences while asleep and awake.
Melatonin released on PC and Switch to a warm reception, and we're really intrigued to take it for a spin on PS5. Fortunately, it's not far away at all, launching on 12th March 2024. Will you be playing Melatonin? Take a nap in the comments section below.

I love this game. Played it on Switch and had a blast with it!
Own it on Switch. It's a blast! Especially when you enjoy games like Rhythm Paradise. This is the closest thing to it.
I played this on the Switch and it was fantastic.

Slightly later than usual, the Last Chance to Play section of PS Plus has updated with the list of PS5, PS4 games that will be removed from the service next month. Compared to those that departed earlier this week, we've got a longer list this time but the titles aren't quite as important. There are 11 games leaving PS Plus Extra on 16th April 2024, and they are:
Studio Media Molecule has been winding down its live development and support for Dreams for a while now, as it shifts towards work on its next big game.
