NIKKE: Goddess of Victory, Korean developer Shift Up’s saucy gacha shooter, is one of the biggest mobile games on the planet, raking in upwards of $25 million per month according to Sensor Tower data. It’s always felt inevitable, then, that the studio will draw upon the game’s enormous audience to promote upcoming PS5 exclusive Stellar Blade – and quizzed on whether that’ll be the case, Game Director Hyung-Tae Kim cryptically confirmed in an interview with Push Square that it will.
“Yes, of course, if that’s what the users want then we can do anything that will please them,” he admitted. “We’re currently just discussing how we can do this in order to maximise the attractiveness of the event. We’re also considering how we can maximise the synergy between the two titles.”
Our guess is that Eve will appear in a future NIKKE: Goddess of Victory banner, allowing fans to add her to their fleet of buxom battle babes. We also wouldn’t be surprised if there are some outfits in Stellar Blade based on the more popular NIKKEs, like Rapi, Dorothy, and Privaty. All will be revealed closer to the PS5 title’s launch later this year, we suspect.
A true PlayStation veteran, Sammy's covered the world of PS gaming for years, with an enormous Trophy count to prove it. He also likes tennis games way more than you.
Can’t say I’m too interested in any of that, however, it does sound like the devs will be watching feedback on this game, which I do like.
I need to check out this Nikke
Perhaps if it was a crossover «saucy» mobile game Azur Lane, I might be interested.
That said games I haven't played like Nikke and Blue Archive have some excellent character designs
I hear the fans would like an option to equip eve and work bench girl with normal looking Korean heads to match the rest of the games normal looking Korean headed cast.
Up for pre order tomorrow so will my first hard copy of a game on PS5, As for Nikke I never played don't play always online games
As someone who has played NIKKE since day 1, this is VERY exciting to see.
Also just as a note: Those 25 millions $ per month is ONLY from mobile revenue. It has a PC version as well, which isn't counted. So yeah. Its bonkers.
They should do a reverse collaboration and just add the jiggly butt mod from nikke to eve and friends. Would totally endorse the product more
@BeautifulCreatures you dont buy all ur ps5 games digitally? Been buying physical since day one but ill also get ps4 version for free ps5 upgrade but lately they not free anymore and want $10 from me. Gonna be only ps5 version from here on out i think.
I'm going to be a stickinthemud and just say I absolutely detest this age of constant crossovers

Shift Up’s Stellar Blade isn’t out for another two months, but retail copies are apparently already stocked in Japan. Genki on Twitter got their hands on one and revealed the back specifying “more than 35 GB” of free space for installation.
The download size of Stellar Blade may be in the ballpark of 35GB, as suggested by one newly emerged leak. Although the source of the claim seems to be a prematurely revealed official estimate, that's quite a modest figure for a contemporary AAA game, to the point that some fans have already expressed skepticism about whether Stellar Blade could truly end up being so small.
Developer Shift Up has confirmed that its upcoming PS5 exclusive action RPG Stellar Blade will feature multiple options to allow players to tweak the game's performance. These settings will take the form of three different Stellar Blade graphics settings that players can choose based on their preferences.
Shift Up’s Stellar Blade is coming soon to PS5, and several new details are available following an impressive showing at the latest State of Play. The action-adventure RPG promises fast-paced action akin to NieR: Automata (which served as a “huge driving force” for the project), but for those who aren’t as skilled, there are options to make things easier.
Upcoming PS5 exclusive Stellar Blade has been given an adults-only rating in Korea, where developer Shift Up is located. Considering the attention-grabbing headlines the game has been generating, it should come as no surprise this is due to apparent (or suggested) nudity and extreme violence.
Sony president and PlayStation chairman Hiroki Totoki was asked in a Q&A session following Sony's latest financial results briefing why the game division is seeing an increase in gross income but not profits and what the company could do to improve its bottom line. Totoki said that there are two key areas he wants to focus on in this regard: hardware and first-party games.
With a fairly barren line-up of titles from Sony in the coming year, PS5 exclusives like Shift Up’s Stellar Blade will become essential. The action-adventure RPG has looked very impressive thus far, especially in the latest State of Play trailer, but what graphical options can players expect?
The United States’ Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has rated Shift Up’s Stellar Blade, and to no one’s surprise, it’s “M” for “Mature 17+” due to “Blood and Gore, Language, Suggestive Themes, and Violence.”
The developers behind the upcoming Stellar Blade revealed the real-life South Korean model they worked with in order to create the game's action heroine, Eve. Stellar Blade has been a hot topic of discussion ever since its re-reveal in 2023, with many anticipating its April 26 release. The design of Stellar Blade's protagonist has dominated conversations, especially after the game's latest State of Play trailer.
We must admit, Granblue Fantasy: Relink's release date had us worried for a while. The action RPG — which we awarded a rock solid 8/10 in our review — launched just a day before the heavily marketed Persona 3 Reload, and just a week after the highly rated Tekken 8 and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. It felt like a bit of a suicide mission, but Relink's actually managed to do well for itself — especially given the circumstances.
Sony is still aiming to ship an impressive 25 million PS5 consoles this fiscal year, and it’s got a little over a month to achieve the milestone. Right across Europe, it’s currently discounting the price of the remodelled PS5 Slim, where in Italy you can get savings of up to €75 through 25th February. That makes the system €474.99 as opposed to its usual €549.99.
