Within the vast magnitude of space exploration in there are over 1,000 planets to discover and explore in a large open-world, or open-galaxy, adventure. Across the star systems, there are surprisingly few cities where groups of people have congregated, and much of civilization seems to have taken a bit of a step backward in some ways. Even the lack of good maps for the four major cities is a frustrating disappointment that can leave some wondering what happened to humanity's current reliance on navigation software and map programs, but even that is just a small part of a larger problem.
is one of the biggest open-world games ever with its procedurally generated planets and its focus on allowing players the ability to explore the nearly limitless area of space itself. Throughout the main story of the game, the history of what happened to the Earth and the overarching mysterious past of humanity itself becomes a large bit of lore. There really are only four major cities in, and none of them are incredibly large enough to cover the surface of a planet like Coruscant did in. They are large cities, but it would still stand to reason that there could be more than one city, town, or even little villages that would be near it on the same planet. It seems unlikely that no adult children ever wanted to move away from the city of their parents without leaving to an entirely different planet, or that there aren't other areas on an entire planet that could function for farming or resource gathering that people may have wanted to form a community around.
