Starfield fan recreates every single cube-shaped food from the game

Without getting too deep into spoiler territory for those who haven't played much Starfield yet, there's a quest line in the main story involving temples. The first temple has a sort of puzzle inside that takes a few minutes to figure out, and there's a nice reward at the end of it.

One Starfield player has effectively become the galaxy's ultimate Good Samaritan by breaking down how to build an outpost network collecting every single resource with perfect efficiency - or, at least, nearly perfect efficiency.

Bethesda Game Studio’s creative director, Todd Howard, wasn’t expecting our Starfield ships to be so damn cool.

Starfield stores some of its most intriguing riches and best loot behind locked doors, which require a futuristic lockpick known as a digipick to open. But what if you need practice at the mechanic, but you don’t want to burn through your store of valuable digipicks? Or what if you’re on the go, and you yearn for the simple joy of unlocking a space door? Afan named BB-dev created an open source digipick simulator to scratch that itch.

The Baldur’s Gate 3 cast can be summed up as an eclectic cast of weirdos forcibly brought together by fate. Despite their constant life-or-death situations, they find time to bicker and form deep friendships. The idea describes many RPG casts, but Baldur’s Gate 3‘s cast also fits as sitcom characters.

Exploring in Starfield is hungry-making work, and whether you’re in New Atlantis, Neon Ebbside, or Akila City, Chunks is there to keep your belly full and your body fueled. Starfield’s signature dining experience offers a variety of cube-shaped dishes for weary travelers. Whether you’re after an Apple with four edges, a square of Mongolian Beef, or a boxy Poached Egg, there’s a little bit of something for everyone.

The biggest fast food chain in Starfield’s vast universe is called Chunks, a company that renders every food item you can think of into a literal cube. One fan has now made the valiant effort of recreating “almost” every item on the Chunks menu in real life. 

Starfield has a pretty decent range of clothing for all you fashionistas out there, but every now and then you'll spot an NPC wearing a particularly attractive suit or outfit that puts your own threads to shame. If you were playing Skyrim, you could simply get into your best sneaking position and attempt to undress the person where they stand, but Starfield has no feature that allows you to swipe the clothes that NPCs are wearing. Even murdering them doesn't let you take the clothes off their body.

Given how Starfield cozied up to AMD, those who don’t use Team Red’s hardware may have had concerns about how optimized the game would be on Nvidia’s tech. Fortunately, when it comes to upscaling at least, Bethesda is launching official DLSS support. But until then, the mod community is coming to the rescue.
