In a February 2022 Nintendo Direct, it was announced that the first three mainline Front Mission games would get modern remakes exclusively for Switch. Front Mission 1st: Remake hit last November, and now, nearly a year later, we finally know when Front Mission 2 will arrive.

I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons for about three years now, but I just now finally figured out how spell slots work. The reason? Sinking dozens of hours into Baldur’s Gate 3, playing as a Wizard (and also dragging my beloved Gale along everywhere).

Blizzard has announced Diablo 4’s first XP and Gold boost weekend, which just so happens to clash with the launch of Starfield.

Even after a decade Warframe still keeps adding in-depth content to the free Steam game, and TennoCon 2023 has been no exception for big reveals. Warframe isn’t slowing down, as a big new update, skins, a Halloween event, and more is coming to the game to celebrate the landmark achievement.

It’s been a frantic, non-stop week of bouncing between games and preview sessions at Gamescom. Dom and I have both seen dozens of games in the space of a few days, and now have the tough task of trying to remember everything as we write up all the previews through the next couple weeks.

The reboot of Saints Row is now available on Steam, and has been heavily discounted until the end of August.

With 1,000 planets to explore, most fans eagerly anticipate spending hundreds of hours exploring everything Starfield offers. One father-to-be posted today about how it’ll likely be the last game he can dive into and spend 10 hours playing each evening. But the Starfield dads have banded together like a group of rough-and-ready spacefaring troublemakers to reassure him that’s not the case.

A court in the UK has found that an 18-year-old from Oxford, Arion Kurtaj, was a part of the Lapsus$ hacking group responsible for hacking a range of tech firms including Nvidia and Rockstar Games. These intrusions resulted in a major leak of footage from the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6, a game that Rockstar has yet to officially unveil, and the court heard that Kurtaj leaked the clips from a Travelodge hotel while he was already on bail after being arrested for another hack.

There have been many franchises on Nintendo platforms over the years from 1st and 3rd party platforms. But one could argue that in recent generations, none of them has had the life cycle of Xenoblade Chronicles. The original game was only meant for a Japanese release, but fans brought it to the Wii in the West after a “campaign.” Then, it got a port to the 3DS while a “side sequel” came out on the Wii U. It wasn’t until the Switch arrived that it got a true sequel, and then a remaster of the original, and finally, a third mainline entry.
