Skyrim Player Makes Character That Looks Exactly Like Jon Snow

Deckbuilding has become a hugely popular genre in recent years thanks to brilliant titles like Hearthstone, Slay the Spire, and Inscryption. Don't be fooled by this upcoming indie with its Disney-style animations, as it's closer to Little Nightmares than The Little Mermaid. 

So, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a first-person game. This has come as a bit of a surprise to some people, who likely were expecting a third-person perspective thanks to not just the Great Circle’s movie roots but also Indiana Jones’ influence on the video game industry. But do you really want another Uncharted game where the only significant difference is that your sarcastic hero now wears a hat? After six Uncharted games, a reboot trilogy of Tomb Raiders, and uncountable third-person adventures going back to the dawn of the medium, I think developer MachineGames has made a wise move in making Indiana Jones first-person.

We should know by now never to count out Indiana Jones. First The Last Crusade was proven to be a misnomer when it was followed up by 2008’s Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and then even that was replaced as Indy’s final adventure with 2023’s Dial of Destiny.

Indiana Jones and The Great Circle has really hit the nail on the head when it comes to the voice of its iconic relic-hunting protagonist. 

Microsoft's January Xbox Developer Direct has been and gone, bringing first looks and long-awaited release news for some of the company's most highly anticipated titles. MachineGames' Indiana Jones was the biggie of course, showcasing first gameplay and featuring confirmation of a 2024 release, but there was more besides, with Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, Avowed, and Oxide Games' Ara: History Untold all putting in an appearance.

As part of today's Xbox Developer Direct live show, Obsidian released a more in-depth look at its upcoming fantasy RPG Avowed, and its updated combat showcase is a real head-turner. 

The upcoming features a digital recreation of the eponymous character that looks and sounds a lot like Harrison Ford, allowing players to immerse themselves in a new adventure with the iconic archaeologist. The game will occur between the events of the movies and while presenting yet another dangerous worldwide quest that Indy is drawn into. As well-known as this hero of archeology is, nothing created in the franchise would be the same without the image and voice of Harrison Ford.
