Players can technically raise their relationship levels with almost any non-Pawn character in the kingdoms of Vermund and Battahl, but only Ulrika and Wilhelmina have fully fleshed-out romances. Players first meet Wilhelmina during the quest "." This requires them to infiltrate a masquerade at Vernworth Castle, where they'll attempt to observe the false Sovran. During the party, the Arisen finds their way through a secret door into the Rose Chateau.
The Vernworth Masquerade only occurs every two in-game days. If the Arisen arrives in town but can't seem to activate the quest, try resting at an inn for a night, or returning after a few days of adventuring.
As the owner-operator of Vernworth's finest bordelrie, Wilhelmina quickly realizes the Arisen isn't actually meant to be there, and offers to help them escape. This creates a very Vermund meet-cute: the Arisen and Wilhelmina are immediately united in a common goal, forced to exhibit cunning and courage in order to make it out alive. The conspiracy continues as the Arisen takes on the quest "." For this one, they'll need to inspect a suspicious delivery made to the queen's minister, Allard.
However, they're interrupted when Allard suddenly appears outside his chambers. If they jump out the window, they'll run into Wilhelmina downstairs. Ever the quick thinker, Wilhelmina wraps the Arisen in a kiss to hide their face from a passing guard. Talk about a leap of faith: jumping out the window is entirely necessary to romance Wilhelmina.
