Lenovo Legion Pro 7i | Nvidia RTX 4080 | Intel Core i9 13900HX | 16-inch | 1600p | 240Hz | 32GB DDR5-5600 | 1TB NVMe SSD | $2,749$2,099 at B&H Photo (save $650)This is a discount on the best RTX 4080 laptop I've tested since they launched. It's a fantastic notebook, offering performance that can often match and sometimes beat an RTX 4090-based system (see our review). There's a high-performance CPU to back it up, a decent, bright 1600p screen, and a fair amount of storage.

Curses are not very common in , but if you are unfortunate enough to come across one, you will need a way to remove it. The Level 3 Spell can inflict multiple curses, affecting checks, saving throws, health, and/or attacks. Cursed items can provide useful bonuses at terrible cost. You may even get a particularly nasty curse called Tharchiate Withering.
A recent datamine of Baldur's Gate 3's absurdly huge wealth of voice lines continues to deliver. Not just in helping us uncover dark, dark futures regarding Scratch—it's also given us a peek behind the curtain at the game's development.
Yesterday I had a lovely chat with the brainy folk of Oxide Games, developers of Ashes of the Singularity and the forthcoming Ara: History Untold, a historical 4X strategy game that puts a baroque spin on the classic Civilization format with each player's turn unfolding simultaneously once you've queued up a bunch of commands.
NetherRealm Studios has released a new update for Mortal Kombat 1, rolling it out across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but unfortunately, Nintendo Switch players are having to wait a little longer for any sort of update.
Last week, we asked you share moments basking in the moonlight of a game of your choice using #PSshare #PSBlog. Here are this week’s highlights:
Baldur's Gate 3 lets you multiclass—opening the floodgates to a lot of min-maxing nonsense. In case you're a single-class devotee (or just haven't played the game yet), multiclassing means «taking levels» in several different classes. So for example, you could be a level 5 fighter and a level 3 barbarian on a level 8 character.
As Valve's apparent tease of an impending Counter-Strike 2 launch looms, loyal Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players are sharing their hour counts, and the numbers are absolutely eye-watering.
From the beginning of , the party is aided by a mysterious figure known as the Dream Guardian. As the story unfolds, more is revealed about this strange person protecting the group from the Absolute. However, the twist to this character is better and deeper than anyone could have imagined, leading to some interesting story choices later in the game.
Slay the Spire has the intricate roguelike deck building that sees you put together powerful card combos to take on the random encounters ahead of you. Baldur’s Gate 3 has the bold fantasy setting and the unquestionable thrill that comes from leaving your fate in the hands of a dice roll. Bring them together and the result is Diceomancer, a new roguelike announced at the Tokyo Game Show and heading to Steam.
