EA has confirmed the players that will make up the EA Sports FC 24 Team of the Week 3 in Ultimate Team. The following players will have these Team of the Week variants for the next week, so you will have to be quick to try and earn them if you can. Yesterday I had a lovely chat with the brainy folk of Oxide Games, developers of Ashes of the Singularity and the forthcoming Ara: History Untold, a historical 4X strategy game that puts a baroque spin on the classic Civilization format with each player's turn unfolding simultaneously once you've queued up a bunch of commands.

NetherRealm Studios has released a new update for Mortal Kombat 1, rolling it out across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but unfortunately, Nintendo Switch players are having to wait a little longer for any sort of update. 

October is here and with it comes one of the biggest gaming conventions of the year. The annual Essen Spiel is happening this week in Germany, so be on the lookout for tons of new releases getting ready to hit the pipeline.

With the Ryder Cup on this weekend, I have the sudden urge to dust off my old Wii and practice my swing again in Wii Sports! Or maybe I’ll pick up one of the more modern golf games, what do you think?

Baldur's Gate 3 lets you multiclass—opening the floodgates to a lot of min-maxing nonsense. In case you're a single-class devotee (or just haven't played the game yet), multiclassing means «taking levels» in several different classes. So for example, you could be a level 5 fighter and a level 3 barbarian on a level 8 character.
