The yellow rubber duckies that were your bathtime play pals have now come to life with Chuck The Duck In: Crossy Seas. It’s a new casual indie game that’s a mixture of roguelike adventure and city-building. Dropped on Android recently, it’s free to play.

The surprisingly well-received TV adaptation of Twisted Metal has only been (officially) watchable in the USA for about eight months. That's changing from today, though, as the action comedy is now available to stream in the UK.

The first Rise of the Ronin review score has been posted online, with Japanese outlet Famitsu awarding the soon-to-be-released PS5 game a total of 37/40 across four reviewers. One of the big stories this year so far has been Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s relative underperformance in its home territory of Japan. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes has been percolating for some time now, initially beginning life as a Kickstarter project and spiritual successor to the Suikoden series. With launch just over a month away, on 23rd April on PS5 and PS4, we got a substantial new trailer showing off just some of the game's many companion characters, interspersed with some compelling snippets of gameplay.

Update: As promised, MultiVersus has been re-revealed following its unprecedented year offline. The title will launch on 28th May, and will ship with a raft of improvements, including an upgrade to Unreal Engine 5, all-new rollback netcode, and fresh stages and characters. RPG Maker is a franchise that's largely steered clear of PlayStation consoles, but that trend is set to change with the release of RPG Maker WITH. Published by NIS America, it's headed to PC and Switch at some point in the autumn / fall, while PS5 and PS4 versions are locked in for 2025.
