Samsung has just unveiled its brand new Odyssey Neo G9 57" & Odyssey ARK 55" flagship gaming displays with up to Dual UHD & 240Hz panels.
Unveiling today at Gamescom 2023 are Samsung's ultimate gaming displays, the World's first Dual UHD "Odyssey Neo G9 57-Inch" and the updated "Odyssey ARK 55-Inch". Both of these displays are designed for enthusiasts and ultimate gamers, offering insane specifications which we will get right into.
Starting with the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57", we have the world's first dual UHD design that has a resolution of 7680x2160 which is just as wide as two 32" UHD displays. The display uses Samsung Quantum Matrix technology and rocks a 1000R curvature with a matte display design. The HDR has been certified as DisplayHDR 1000 and besides that, you get a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz, a 1 ms response time (GTG) along with AMD Freesync Premium Pro capabilities. In terms of I/O, the G9 57" is equipped with HDMI 2.1, DP 2.1, and a USB hub.
The Samsung Quantum Matrix technology is used to power the Quantum Mini LED lighting that is used by the panel, offering smaller but denser dimming zones. This allows for sharper contrast and less bloom.
As for the design language, Samsung has gone with a very futuristic design that rocks a white color on the back casing along with RGB lighting embedded within the circular stand frame on the back. It can be customized using the CoreSync and Core Lightning+ technologies & there are also options for Tilt, Swivel along with 100x100 Wall Mount support.
The second gaming display in the list is the fully upgraded Samsung Odyssey ARK which is a 55" monitor that comes with a 100R curved gaming screen. The new display features a 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution, the same quantum matrix technology from Samsung, and HDR10+ gaming, all in a matte display finish. The maximum refresh rate for this monitor is spec'd at 165Hz, 1ms response (GTG), and also supports AMD Freesync Premium Pro technology.
Once again, the Samsung Odyssey ARK features the same cockpit view which became a major and eye-catching attraction when it was first unveiled. Display inputs on the new ARK include DP1.4 & a total of three HDMI ports. The new DP port also supports 4K UHD streams.
The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 will be available for pre-order during Gamescom 2023 while the 2023 Odyssey ARK will be available for pre-order in September. The prices aren't mentioned but we will update you as soon as we know them.

It’s hard to believe that we’re approaching the release date for Starfield. The video game was first introduced years ago, prior to the eventual acquisition of Microsoft. Now that Bethesda is under the control of Xbox, fans who have been waiting on the release of Starfield will need to enjoy this game on the PC or Xbox Series X/S platforms. But with a massive game, it wouldn’t be too long before leaks started to hit the web. One of the more recent leaks is based on Neon city.

Ultra Pro Wrestling’s showcase has dropped and with it comes the first in-game footage and a metric-ton of roster announcements. We got to see intros that pay homage to Virtual Pro Wrestling 2’s full walkouts from the backstage area to the ring with “Blue Collar” Bill Dollar facing “Sir” Oliver Buckingham. The light and hard strikes and grapples were shown off and the strikes definitely have the same feel as No Mercy in terms of reactions and selling. The grapples seem a tad floaty, but this is pre-alpha footage and that can always be tightened up. The go-behind animation definitely needs some work and the snap German based on one of Dr. Death’s variants in the Aki engine looks pretty good overall.
