Samsung’s Cutting-Edge 2nm Process Could Just Be The Korean Giant’s Second-Generation 3nm Node With A Changed Name

Samsung’s struggles in bringing up the yields of its 3nm GAA process were well-known, but there is a positive update that a tipster provided, claiming that the Korean giant’s foundry has managed to increase that number to three times the original figure. This means that the previous 10-20 percent yields of the 3nm process is now hovering between 30-60 percent. While these are improvements, the company continues to trail behind TSMC, and there are rumors claiming that Samsung placed more stock in its second-generation 3nm GAA process.

At this point, Overwatch 2 has become notorious for its expensive cosmetics. It's not at all unusual to see skins available to buy that cost roughly $25, which is a considerable price for a single in-game outfit. To put it into perspective, that's $5 more than the price of the original Overwatch's standard edition back before the free-to-play sequel replaced it.

Helldivers 2's Cutting Edge Premium warbond, aka DLC battle pass, is now available to buy in-game, and it is chock-full of oddball gadgetry such as lightning shotguns, burst-fire laser rifles and experimental armour. As with the Arc Thrower stratagem, the lightning shotgun fires arcs of electricity that conduct between players and enemies alike, but there's a fresh armour perk, Electrical Conduit, which reduces arc damage by 95%, allowing close-knit teams of Helldivers to roll around the battlefield frazzling themselves without much penalty.

It's still months before we can even hope to have GTA 6 in our hands, but there's no doubt that it's one of, if not the most anticipated game on the horizon. However, its launch doesn't just have a lot riding on it because of its eager fanbase, as one games industry analyst predicts that "there's probably never been a more important thing to ever release in the industry."

While today's top story remains the Liberation of Tien Kwan, Super Earth high command (developer Arrowhead) has revealed the Cutting Edge Premium Warbond, giving all loyal Helldivers a glimpse of the arsenal on the way to the forces of Democracy. Expect distribution to begin on 14th March in exchange for a lifetime of service and an appropriate amount of Super Credits.

There was a slight chance that Samsung would have partnered with MediaTek to bring its Dimensity 9000 to its flagship Galaxy S series in the past. Given that the Taiwanese company took the premium Android SoC market by surprise with this release, competitors started taking note of MediaTek and where it could be headed.
