The Galaxy S24 lineup was introduced with Samsung’s first AI-powered software suite called Galaxy AI. Given that the new models accounted for 53 percent of the Korean giant’s Q1 2024 operating profit, many would conclude that these features would be one reason for their popularity. Unfortunately, based on a separate rumor, the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra will disappoint in the battery department, as it sticks with the same 5,000mAh battery as previous-generation models. However, Samsung intends to raise that backup by up to 10 percent with something called ‘Battery AI.’
Judging by the name, Battery AI could be an intelligent feature baked into the next version of Galaxy AI that increases the overall runtime without affecting the smartphone’s performance. PandaFlash has mentioned on X that an unnamed source informed him of this feature, and users can experience between 5-10 percent increase in the total runtime. Battery-boosting software has existed for years now, with a multitude of programs available for both smartphones and laptops.
Unfortunately, these tend to crush performance by downclocking the CPU and GPU, whereas, in other cases, the software does not achieve anything at all. In some scenarios, the 5G modem’s maximum throughput is also limited, nullifying the entire point of running these programs on your devices. While PandaFlash was not informed in-depth on how Battery AI will work, he assumes that the feature will ‘eliminate’ unnecessary background tasks that use up system resources to deliver a longer backup.

Interestingly, the tipster does not mention anywhere that Battery AI will arrive for the Galaxy S25 series. However, the majority of his posts revolve around Samsung’s upcoming flagship lineup, and with Galaxy AI a major part of the Korean giant’s marketing push, this addition will likely arrive in the next version. Where other applications require users to pick and choose which background processes to remove to save battery life, Battery AI could do that for you.
We believe that the solid integration of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4’s or Exynos 2500’s NPU with Battery AI will be paramount in pushing that battery life to the next level. Unfortunately, intricate details are scarce at this time, but we will be sure to add more information when we stumble across it, so stay tuned.

Samsung is reportedly working on the Samsung Galaxy S25 series and rumours about the devices have started to flood over the internet. Earlier, it was reported that the Galaxy S25 will include Exynos and Snapdragon chipsets based on region. However, a new leak claims that Samsung is planning to develop a 3nm Exynos chip which will be more power efficient than Snapdragon. If the rumours come out to be true, then it will be Samsung's first device with a 3nm chip.
Sony has been quite successful with the PS5. According to the Sony’s recent earnings reports, courtesy of analyst Daniel Ahmad, the company sold around 4.5 million units of the PS5 over the last quarter. For a larger picture, around 59.2 million units of the PS5 were sold in totality as of the end of the previous financial year on March 31, 2024.
In an early leak for Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, the smartphone is expected to discard the quad rear camera setup with a new triple rear camera setup, hinting towards a complete overhaul of the camera. The rumours suggest that Samsung is experimenting with a new camera setup which could affect next year's Galaxy S25 Ultra's telephoto sensor. This news may come as a surprise to several S-series enthusiasts who have been waiting for the new generation model, after the big success of the Galaxy S24 series. Know what the current rumours say about the Galaxy S25 camera overhual.
The Galaxy S24 family shipped with Samsung’s ‘Galaxy AI,’ which is the company’s first AI-powered feature set that elevates the smartphone experience. So far, this addition has proven to be successful, as Samsung recently regained the top spot by beating Apple and becoming the largest smartphone vendor in Q1 2024. We expect to see more of these features added to the Galaxy S25 range next year, but ‘Battery AI’ is something that the company is rumored to introduce before it officially announces its 2025 flagship family.
The ‘less than stellar’ demand for the Apple Vision Pro has caused shipment estimates to drop to 400,000 to 450,000 units for 2024, a massive drop compared to the previous 800,000 estimates. Consumers are discouraged from making the AR headset their daily driver thanks to its ludicrous starting price of $3,499, and even though Apple intends to launch the device overseas, its ‘expensive’ problem is yet to be addressed. Fortunately, the company might overcome this hurdle with the Apple Vision Pro 2, with a rumor claiming that the successor will have a starting price of $1,500 and will add two new suppliers, Samsung and SeeYa, to the list.
A few rumors have clamored that Samsung intends to keep several areas of the Galaxy S25 Ultra unaltered compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but the specifications bit might be another story. One tipster mentions that the Korean giant will finally introduce a RAM upgrade to its top-end flagship in 2025, but the internal storage might not change.
An early look at the M4’s performance did not deliver the best positive first impression because we believed that Apple lowered the clock speeds to achieve better efficiency. However, we are pleasantly surprised by the latest results, as Apple’s new SoC powering the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro models runs circles around the M2, handily beats M3, and zips past the M3 Pro and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite, which are two chipsets occupying a higher performance bracket. Let us look at the latest scores and see what impressed us so much.
We all know how the Android 15 beta has been out and about for some time now, and a lot of people are enjoying it on their Pixel devices. In order to make sure that the Galaxy S24 users are not left behind, Samsung has also started the development of One UI 7.0 beta, which will be based on the latest version of Android. Do keep in mind that the beta program is still a couple of months away from going official but it is good to know that the development has started.
Nintendo’s latest Switch sales projections could bring it extremely close to beating out the PlayStation 2 as the highest-selling console of all time. The Nintendo Switch has been shattering sales records left and right since it first launched back in 2017, surpassing the Nintendo DS as the best-selling system in Japan and outselling other landmark Nintendo platforms like the original Game Boy and the Nintendo Wii.
