If you haven't been keeping an eye on early 2024, we'd encourage you to do so. The current release schedule is, quite frankly, absurd. In the space of just under two months, we're getting:
And now, it looks like things could somehow get even crazier. The latest rumour is that Elden Ring's anticipated expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, will drop in early February — or on the 5th, to be more precise. This is according to Elden Ring YouTuber Ziostorm, who has been fairly accurate with Elden Ring-related updates in the past.
The DLC's launch would follow on from a fresh showing at The Game Awards, apparently — although that's an easy assumption to make, seeing as FromSoftware seems to be best mates with Geoff Keighley.
If Shadow of the Erdtree really does hit in February, we're officially in overkill territory. We can't help but wonder whether something has to give, because that clutch of new releases — from Like a Dragon through to Helldivers 2 — is brutal.

Robert's been a dedicated PlayStation fan since the days of Tekken 2, and he still loves a good dust up. When he's not practising combos, he's usually getting lost in the latest 100-hour RPG, or, y'know, replaying The Witcher 3.
Hands up who'll be able to remember any of the controls in 2024?
This is why I'm a fan of early DLC.
To each their own, but Elden ring will be the only thing that interests me off of that list. So at least there will be something.
If Shadow Of The Erd Tree were to launch in February that would EASILY be my number one game to buy over everything else.
I'm very interested in what this dlc is, but I also remember how their dlc is often harder than the base game. I already couldn't beat Malenia without the mimic tear.
The Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne dlc is brutal.
The world is unicorn overload?
To each their own… but there’s no must buy for me in this list, maybe try Final Fantasy, Like a Dragon, Prince of Persia and Alone in the dark if they ever come to ps plus extra or get dirt cheap.
But Elden Ring DLC might be nice, I guess I’ll know when I’ll try Elden Ring… just haven’t been a fan or their other title for now… but I heard Elden ring my be different…
The base game was too long and definitely got boring after Leyendell. Don't know if I'm in the mood for DLC especially since it will require re-learning the controls and timings. Will probably buy it but not at launch.
That said the list doesn't have much for me. Yakuza is dull for me. Persona is a sale game since I have a no full price for
