There is no shortage of rumors, speculation, and supposed clues to the next Grand Theft Auto video game. Grand Theft Auto VI has been incredibly anticipated by fans worldwide. Rightfully so, as this is a game we’ve waited on for over ten years now. Back in 2013, Grand Theft Auto V launched into the marketplace, and with it came a long line of updates, releases, and support to keep fans happy. But if you’re tired of Los Santos, the wait should end in 2025. That’s when we’ll get Grand Theft Auto VI, but before then, there should be plenty of marketing materials to continue hyping up its release.

Soon after the dust had settled with the trailer’s release, however, several developers from the studio have voiced their disappointment about the trailer being leaked.

The Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer is finally out! After nearly a decade of waiting, Rockstar Games has finally released the GTA 6 trailer albeit in a manner it wouldn't have liked. On November 8, the Take-Two Interactive-owned publisher announced that the GTA 6 trailer would be released in early December. And just a few days ago, Rockstar Games set the GTA 6 trailer release date as December 5, 6:00 AM PT. To the company's dismay, the trailer was leaked online before Rockstar could release it. Now, we have a proper first glimpse into the world of GTA 6 (officially called GTA VI), and it confirms what leaks have suggested before.

Rockstar Games is finally revealing information surrounding the release of the highly-anticipated . Over the years, there have been several rumors and plenty of speculation surrounding the title's release date and what platforms the game will come to, and these have finally been confirmed by the studio alongside a trailer for the game.

According to Rockstar founder Sam Houser, GTA 6 "continues our efforts to push the limits of what's possible in highly immersive, story-driven open-world experiences". Broadcasting via Take-Two Interactive press release in the wake of yesterday's premature GTA 6 trailer release (I hope you didn't accidentally watch the cryptocurrency-branded version), Houser added that "we're thrilled to be able to share this new vision with players everywhere" when it launches in 2025. Except on PC. For the moment, anyway.

Last week, we speculated about whether or not Grand Theft Auto 6 will release on PC on the same day as consoles. Most of us predicted that Rockstar will once again wait a year or so after the console release date before dropping the PC version, and I regret to report that we were probably right.
