Limited Run Games announced a collection of the classic Rocket Knight series. And if you don’t know about Rocket Knight, prepare to get yelled at by an old, nostalgic gamer (me).
Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked includes Rocket Knight Adventures and Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2 for the Genesis along with Sparkster (yes, that’s a different game) for SNES. The collection adds rewind functionality, Boss Rush Mode, Museum Mode and a new animated intro.
The Rocket Knight games were some of the best 2D action titles of the 16-bit era, coming from Konami at a time when the company rarely published anything but bangers.
The physical collection will be available for PlayStation 5, Switch and PlayStation 4. Preorders will run from January 19 to February 18.
