A new Rise of the Ronin trailer was shared today, focusing on the game's combat mechanics.
The new Combat Vignette trailer, which can be watched below, showcases different weapon types, such as katana, spear, and bayonet, different fighting styles, ranged weapons, and the grappling hook, which will have plenty of uses other than traversing the game's open world. The Team NINJA DNA is evident in this new trailer, so hopefully, Rise of the Ronin will have the same combat depth as other games from the studio, such as the Nioh series and Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.

An alleged trailer for Spider-Man: The Great Web has leaked online - Spider-Man: The Great Web being a cancelled Insomniac Games comicbook adaptation with a focus on co-op multiplayer. I am not going to embed the footage because I’m not sure if doing so would cause screaming Spider-Lawyers to crash through my window – best of luck finding tall objects to swing from in darkest West Yorkshire, webheads! - but I will do you the great honour of describing the footage below.

The mid-19th century was a period of enforced change and upheaval in Japan, as the United States and the West took rather forceful measures to open the country up to trading and end a traditionally isolationist policy. The move would impact everyone in the country from the Shogun, through the clans, and the regular people. Not everyone was happy with the possibility of such change, with Rise of the Ronin featuring the Veiled Edge, a group of skilled blade wielders and assassins who will defy the Shogun.
