Riding Dune: Part Two’s sandworms in 4DX is cool as hell. The fight scenes? Not so much

After the surprising announcement that Larian Studios would be moving on from the Baldur's Gate franchise, studio CEO Swen Vincke stated that the new direction was not the decision of Wizards of the Coast. Although Wizards of the Coast holds the licensing for Baldur's Gate 3, Vincke has been quick to dispel rumors that the Hasbro-owned company is the reason why the studio is moving on from the IP.

The community has never shied away from tackling the Galactic War with gusto, but when taking a step back to look at the overall picture, some of the current efforts of Super Earth's soldiers might actually be poised to backfire. Although individual objectives can vary, the basic prerogatives of are always simple enough. Despite being deep in the trenches of a galactic war, forces can still look pretty cool with some of the impressive armor options available. Eradicating the rising alien threats in the galaxy while spreading the good word of Super Earth's managed democracy can be a tough job and one that requires only the best of outfits. Although the armor worn will undoubtedly become covered in dirt, blood, and bullet holes, that is no excuse not to look good.

The last thing you want to see when loading up Fortnite for a match with your friends, especially when a big new update is dropping, is to be hit with an error. The worst of which might be the “Fortnite servers not responding” error due to how vague it is. Most people don’t know what servers are, let alone what it means when they aren’t responding, except that you can’t play your game. The question then becomes if you have any power to solve this issue yourself or if you’re forced to wait until Epic Games addresses it on its end.

With Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Square Enix working on the final installment in the Remake trilogy, there are a lot of questions. How will it end? Will it include more content and characters from the Compilation of Final Fantasy 7? Whatever the result, it’s confirmed that the world will be “rebuilt” to accommodate the Highwind.

Dune: Part Two has taken theaters by storm after a relatively quiet start to the 2024 box office. It’s getting even more people into this franchise, which is the grandfather of a lot of modern sci-fi stories. Dune also has a more storied history with video games than you may think. If you’re in the mood to return to Arrakis and experience more entertainment set within the Dune universe, you don’t have to wait for Dune: Awakening.

Denis Villeneuve’s planned trilogy of Dune movies is unmistakably focused on telling the story of Paul Atreides, as played by Timothée Chalamet. But just because it’s Paul’s story doesn’t mean he’s the main character of all of the movies. In fact, one of the cleverest, most effective methods Villeneuve uses to show us Paul’s journey in Dune: Part Two is by subtly shifting the Freman warrior Chani (Zendaya) from her initial role as narrator and love interest into the movie’s main character. And Zendaya is one of the few actors who could actually pull that off.

Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two film wormed its way through theaters over the weekend, and if you’ve still got sand in the brain, there’s plenty more where that came from. The developer of Palworld has teased "very cool things" coming to the survival game "very soon" as it reaches more than 250,000 mostly positive reviews on Steam.
