Here's how to use the harp to cross the Forbidden Grove river.
By Billy Givens on
If you've been exploring the dense forests of Yaesha in Remnant II, you may have stumbled upon a massive river with a gap that you can't cross. To the right of it is a giant musical machine--a harp, to be precise--which you've likely assumed plays an important part in crossing the gap. But solving this mystery won't be a straightforward process. Read on to figure out how to solve one of Remnant II's trickiest puzzles.
When you first come across the giant harp in The Forbidden Grove, you'd be wasting your time trying to solve its puzzle, as you'll first need to power the machine up. Unfortunately, you can't do so until you've continued through more of the biome.
Continue up the stairs next to the World Stone room nearby until you reach the door to the next section of the biome. Enter inside and continue fighting your way through--potentially even through another area altogether--until you finally find yourself wrapped all the way back around to a new section of The Forbidden Grove.
In this new section of The Forbidden Grove, you can access a lever near the World Stone room that will power the harp. Afterward, you'll be able to open a shortcut back to the World Stone, so be sure to rest if you need to, then check out the book in this room.
This book gives you the notes you need to input on the harp, as well as hints as to the spacing needed to play the melody correctly. We'll give you the exact input order below, but this info should get you started if you'd like to figure it out for yourself.
Back at the harp, we're going to put in the notes found from the book. Raising a pin will count as a note, while leaving pins down count as blank spaces.

When you reach the final battle against Moonrise Tower in Baldur’s Gate 3, Jaheira will go on ahead of you to take the battle to the Absolute cultists. She and her harpers carved a path through the first line of defense, but they need to secure the tower. Before you head up to battle against Ketheric Thorm, there’s a chance to ask if Jaheira wants to join you in this fight.
Baldur’s Gate 3 takes sidequests to a whole new level — it’s sidequests within sidequests. When aiding Asterion on his Pale Elf companion quest, prepare for a surprise detour into the mysterious Gauntlet of Shar. Much to Shadowheart’s content, this quest concerns her beloved Mistress of the Night and will require players to solve puzzles, fight some undead and solve three of her trials. Even after all that’s done, Shadowheart will briefly mention that this Spear of Night might also come in handy.

The most straightforward path to the Underdark, the underground tunnels you’ll need to progress the main story in Baldur’s Gate 3 is through the Goblin Camp. The massive enemy base where the cult of the Absolute call home has a secret entrance straight to the Underdark — a new and vast open-world region with many useful items and quests to complete. The Underdark is packed with powerful treasure, and when you’re Level 4-5, you’ll be ready to begin adventuring in the deep.
You can find and discover several hidden puzzles during your journey in Baldur’s Gate 3. One of these puzzles can be found deep within the Goblin Camp, inside the Defiled Temple, there is a secret Moon Puzzle you can complete. This is for the Nightsong quest and progresses this quest, but you will need to make your way through the Goblin Camp.
Halsin is the key to solving the conflict in Emerald Grove, but he's difficult to find in Baldur's Gate 3.
Remnant II is doing very well for itself. Just yesterday, Gunfire Games and Gearbox Publishing announced that the Soulslike third-person shooter game already sold over a million units, with PC registering over double the first game's concurrent player peak on Steam.
The trait system and progression blockers are being fixed.
Yaesha is full of mysteries for you to unlock in Remnant 2. It’s one of the many worlds you’ll discover as you progress through the game and travel through the crystals. When you reach The Forbidden Grove in Yaesha, there is a music box you need to solve, also known as the Music Box, often referred to as the Water Harp.
The school holidays have begun which, predictably means that it’s been raining and drizzling up and down the country. Luckily, we have the technology to deal with the rain – we can sit inside playing video games. This week I’ve been playing loads of multiplayer, first in Exoprimal, and second in Remnant II. I’ve had a whole hell of a good time with them both, though one is clearly superior than the other. Can you guess which one it is? Besides these two, I’ve carried on playing more Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp because… well, it’s Advance Wars.
Remnant II has been referred to as a “looter-shooter” by some, but the amount of weapons and gear you’ll find out in the game’s world is actually pretty limited. That said, there are a few secrets to find, including the Chicago Typewriter. Essentially a version of the classic Tommy gun, this is not only an effective weapon, but likely a fun reference to other games that have had their own Chicago Typewriters, like the Resident Evil series. So, how do you find it? It’s not too tough if you know how. Follow these steps and you’ll be rubbing out dirty rats in no time…
