Razer said it’s packing the latest Intel, AMD and Nvidia chips into its Razer Blade family of gaming laptops for 2024. Some of them will come with an AI boost.
Announced at CES 2024, the big tech trade show in Las Vegas, the lineup of Razer Blade gaming laptops will take a pretty big leap forward in technology. The laptops include the Razer Blade 16, featuring the world’s first OLED 240Hz 16-inch display, alongside an updated Blade 14 and a preview of the future-forward Blade 18.
Travis Furst, head of the notebook and accessories division at Razer, said in a statement, “The Razer Blade series epitomizes our dedication to leading through innovation. Over the years, we’ve meticulously perfected the craftsmanship of the durable unibody aluminum chassis design. Today, with new innovations in display technology, performance, and AI, the Razer Blade continues to push the boundaries of gaming laptops within our signature compact design.”
The Razer Blade 16 spearheads the lineup with the world’s first OLED 240Hz 16-inch display, providing gamers with visual clarity and color depth. Paired with the new Intel Core i9-14900HX processor and up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 laptop graphics, the Blade 16 delivers performance within an anodized aluminum unibody.
The display offers QHD+ resolution, 0.2ms response time, and DCI-P3 100% color gamut, boasting VESA ClearMR 11000 and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certifications.
It has dual mode Mini-LED display options so you can seamlessly switch between high-resolution creative work and high-refresh-rate gaming with a display that natively switches between UDH+ 120Hz and FHD+ 240Hz.
The Blade 16 harnesses the fast mobile processor with 24 cores, allowing overclocking through Razer Synapse for unmatched processing power.
It comes with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 Graphics with 175-watt full TGP. And it delivers enhanced graphics power per cubic inch, leveraging Nvidia’s AI-powered DLSS 3 for faster framerates and real-time ray tracing.
